Perfect Place to Play in the Desert
Course was recommended by a Rancho Mirage resident, and the course did not disappoint. Great layout and staff. Definitely going back.

Great time at DI
Love this course!! I gave this course 4 stars because the greens weren’t in great shape. Slow and a bit bumpy, not typical for CC golf. Other than that, the course was in great shape and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Ol’ Blue Eyes…
Went out today to have some vacation fun in Rancho Mirage at Desert Island formerly known as “The S” it’s rumored that Frank played here many times which is why it was called “The S” but I will say nice place, staff is super friendly & welcoming to all guests first timers or even their own club members. Simple layout built in the ‘70s so it’s not overly long but can be as they have added some new tee boxes. Greens & fairways were great, bonus you get free balls to warm up with on the range. Very green everywhere which was a beautiful sight. I would play this course again.

Great setup. Range and putting green are right next to the clubhouse as is the first tee. Course well maintained and greens rolled true.. Would play again

Staff
If you golf to meet people, the staff here will make your day. They greeted us immediately and were above friendly and helpful. Since we were playing with our wives, who seldom golf, this simple jesture set tge tone for a relaxing and enjoyable day.
The course was narrow, rewarding straight shots and punishing errant shots. The greens were well managed and rolled true.
In the end, the staff again welcomed us all baxk, assisted with our clubs and thanked us again. Great experience!

Green as can be
First time playing a course like this. Very impressed. If Sacramento courses where like this my score would drop
Few complaints though. No ball washers, bathrooms on course and no cart gals. Beside that the lush fairways and “rough only 1 1/2” tall made it easy
