Desert Island Country Club

If you golf to meet people, the staff here will make your day. They greeted us immediately and were above friendly and helpful. Since we were playing with our wives, who seldom golf, this simple jesture set tge tone for a relaxing and enjoyable day.

The course was narrow, rewarding straight shots and punishing errant shots. The greens were well managed and rolled true.

In the end, the staff again welcomed us all baxk, assisted with our clubs and thanked us again. Great experience!

First time playing a course like this. Very impressed. If Sacramento courses where like this my score would drop

Few complaints though. No ball washers, bathrooms on course and no cart gals. Beside that the lush fairways and “rough only 1 1/2” tall made it easy

Allen, the starter, was delightful and friendly.

Some local patrons in the outdoor bar were antagonistic and rude. Bar tender was kind but did not know to handle the situation. One person in our party of four was alone and felt very unfortable while the rest of us played the back nine

The course was an excellent condition. People were all very friendly and they even paired us with another nice couple that we enjoyed the day. We will be back!

Beautiful course. The layout is flat with some challenging holes that include water and a few sand traps on approach! Some reviewers say greens are too slow but they run pretty true so just know the speed is not fast.

You will be greeted and treated by the best! From the outside staff who will take your clubs and the Pro Shop staff and the friendliest starter in the valley! Big shout outs to Lorenzo, Jose’, Noah and Alan👏🏼

Course will be fun as it continues to get love from the hoa course owners who've taken over from former owners. In time it will be a good track. It's a good time if you're looking for a round in the desert. Very impressed at the pace of play. It was a Saturday afternoon; there was a shotgun tournament on course. Teed off at 12 and done at 4:15. Staff did a great job moving the play along. Greatly appreciated.

Staff is great, course really good, greens still getting in shape for winter. Highly recommend playing there

The course is in excellent condition and we played at 8:10a and never had anyone behind us or in front of us. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Very friendly staff, can’t wait to play again!

Great course. The greens can look bare on some holes, but I expect them to be in better shape through the winter. Nonetheless, they weren't too slow, rolled smoothly and posed a good challenge. The fairways and tee boxes are in excellent shape. 4+ stars on golfnow is well deserved.
