Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort - South/West

Played the south-north course. Weather in the mid to high eighties. The course appears to be very well kept. Both the fairways and green conditions were near perfect. A great all around day. and a great value - will definitely be back

Best greens I’ve played so far on this trip. Enjoyed the round.

Fun course with a great layout through the Omni are sort and RLP community. Greens were in good shape, a few tee boxes were not set up correctly but no big deal. No beverage cart, we were craving some beers and snacks. Would play it again for sure. Great course for the price

Peculiar layout. Some areas over watered, others dry. Relatively narrow fairways on some holes. Pleasant golf experience but not fabulous. Carts do have GPS which is nice.

Rode the Blacks on the South/North combo (6343/69.2/124) twilight on a GN "Hot Deal". Then played the North again. Got in 27 holes in 4H, 20M, mostly as a single. Low 80's, sunny and fairly calm.

Tees very lush and well maintained.

Fairways lush and nice to play from.

Rough lush and thick but not overly tall. Still somewhat penal.

Sand traps had decent sand and were well maintained.

Greens were smooth with few ball marks. They putted medium fast speed and held irons with a little run out.

By FAR the best shape I have ever seen this course in. Customer service excellent all around. Well stocked pro shop. Let me out before my tee time. No drink cart, but there was a snack stand at the turn. Single rider carts @ no extra charge. Carts have GPS to the F/C/B of greens. Grass range looked decent. Highly recommended.

I was surprised that the course was in great shape. The staff was very professional and friendly. Weather was great. Will play the course again.

a lot of the holes were played in the aqueduct areas which I'm not a huge fan of but the staff was very friendly and the course is a good value for your money

First of all don’t use the Golf Now directions as they don’t get you to the course. The course was in excellent condition and lots of fun. We made 18 holes in just over three hours playing the South/ North courses. Very friendly pro shop and starter staff. No marshal or beer cart. I would definitely play there again.

Driving up we were very impressed, club house and pro shop were very nice. Check in staff very friendly and efficient.

Starter was not very helpful and borderline rude.

Played the North course first, most holes were across the arroyo so down and up a hill on each hole. By the fourth hole we were waiting on the group of 5 golfers ahead of us. Never saw a marshal and couldn’t find the starter or other staff member to talk to at the turn

Played the West course for the back 9. The first 3 holes are in horrible shape and we are still waiting on every shot. Ended up quitting the round. When we talked to the starter, Danny, about the group of 5 playing in front of us and slow play he responded they don’t allow groups of 5 and walked into golf cart area. Never helped us with bags etc. worst golf experience in years.

Pace of play; course conditions and professionalism of staff all great.

Greens were fast and smooth. Fairways, tee boxes in very nice condition.

Sand traps were very inconsistent, some hard some soft.

Overall a good experience. Got a great rate from GolfNow.

Managed to get an eagle on I believe it was hole 4. It was a ton of fun. Course in great shape.
