Terrible course, terrible service!
We were 5 minutes late for our tee time because the entrance is really hard to find. We had to wait 30 minutes to get on (our tee time was at 2:10, showed up at 2:15, went on at 2:40) Got to the first hole, and the father/son duo in front of us had one golf bag between the two of them. The son had to run back to the car when they were putting and get a golf club. Terrible terrain for my push cart; bumpy, full of pot holes/gopher holes...The group behind us was 5 or 6 golfers in 2 golf carts with a dog, hurrying us up! I accidentally rolled my push cart over the green, when was in terrible shape already, and got yelled at by the people behind us. Okay, fine, but then the golf marshall was sent over to tell me again! Telling us he's going to call someone to kick us off the course! We left after the 3rd hole! Never will I play that course again!.
The pro shop guy was super friendly, but their beverage selection sucked and when we asked we could grab a drink from the bar while we were waiting half an hour, the golf shop guy said yes, but we were not allowed into the bar because we were not Elks members!
Aweful experience, ruined my whole sunday with my husband!!!
Local 9 hole
You have to keep this little 9 hole in you back pocket. Never a wait just reserve on weekends.
Fun and easy course for beginners to higher level golfers; lots of hills so fun to work on irons and chip shots. Only downside if having to share the course with disc golfers
Local Quicky
If you need a quick round and just a tune up before your next big round. Then come to Emerald. Petite course for irons only play
Hidden Gem
Blackberry Farms is a fantastic place to come and learn to play/ to advanced play. Come out and support your game improvements at the Farm.
Fun local course
A good work out pushing your cart up those Hills. Some of those holes are sneaky hard,. This is not a boring flat, course. The holes have some challenge with elevation changes either up or down and lots of places to lose your ball in high grass if you don't have the best aim . But the conditions were good this time of year . The hills are all green and beautiful.. if you're willing to play in less than ideal weather you can have the place to yourself. Staff was totally friendly and despite the windy and drizzly weather, I still had a great time.
Nice little 9 hole
Came on a wet day and the course was empty. Like I could play a dozen balls and not impede anyone so I took my time. The course is interesting. Almost all the holes are on some sort or a slope and the 6th bends to the left. This course will punish you for miss hits and honestly, you gotta club up on the elevation. The greens were kinda fast but that could have been because of the wetness. There weren’t any puddles so the drainage is pretty decent but it does get muddy on the few fairways like the 8th for sure. Overall, I’d come here again for sure. Definitely a good spot to work on your wedges and short game.
fun time
Nice course, and setting, good for learning to play the game. Great experience.
It is just for children, very busy with children, very hilly,
Great Value
Took my son (7) to play the round with me. It was too hilly for him but we had a good time.
Some of the tee boxes are in harms way of an errant shot from the previous hole, but overall a beautiful place to play 9.
Excellent condition course and challenging course for the beginning or seasoned golfer
Emerald Hills Golf Course is a great course. Played it today and the course was in the best condition I have seen it in years. I love this course for its always challenging holes perfecting my short game. This is a great course for golfers of all skill levels.
