could be very slow course
Some players on the course move very slowly, and there are groups exceeding the four-player limit—I’ve even heard of a group with eight people playing together. At the same time, the marshal doesn’t seem to enforce pace-of-play rules. On one occasion, it took me six hours to complete a round, and players in my group ended up giving up and not finishing the game.
Nice weather great time
Always like playing here course was a little muddy but staff where on tellling whatx holes wee car path only. Played with 3 other people who played the way I do which made it more fun . Will definitely one back the view is worth it
Classic setting
This course is best for intermediate golfers and above who enjoy a natural landscape complimenting the beautiful scenery. Amenities were underwhelming, due to depth of course possibly too challenging for those learning which can be unpleasant and impact a round.
non-disclosed aerating greens
The course layout was great with wildlife roaming free and beautiful scenic backdrops. Unfortunately, the greens were subpar because of maintenance. I would play again
Horrible conditions!!
Course is overwatered. Standing water on all green. Wet spots all over the place from overwatering if they didn’t put so much water on, it would be really nice. No ball washers. I’m a little confused as to why they use so much water because it’s in a watershed area that has plenty of moisture from the fog. I can’t believe it’s $122 to play this place on a weekend way overpriced.!!!!!!!
go to cinnabar or somewhere in the east bay
Prices here are ridiculous. Oh and if you think your gonna get your round done in 4 1/2 hour good luck it's gonna be more like 5 1/2. The pace of play is terrible and seems to have gotten worse. The course has nice views and some good holes but it's not worth the price. I recommend going to a place like Cinnabar which is the same price and SO MUCH BETTER!
Newbie
First time playing and I’m impressed with this course. Quite challenging. Some muddy areas… but the scenic area with the gazebo is breath taking.

One of my favorite courses. You can’t beat the terrain, wildlife and golf challenges!
Folks are generally friendly and the occasional run ends with women golfers’- it’s a man’s world (so they think in golfing)!!!
Love the food selection and veteran bartenders.
