Sunday Golfing
We were able to walk right up to the tee box and begin our game. Weather was great, but the course was still wet, as it was an early tee time. (8:30) Pin cups were full of water which was inconvenient, but otherwise it was a good time. Great way to work on your short game as most of the clubs required are wedges and the higher irons.
Horrible conditions. Not worth the money.
I’ve played at Emerald Hills 3 times. Each time is even worse than before. There is no driving range, only a broken hitting net. The pro shop is in a mobile home. The practice green is the size of a couch. The tee boxes and mangled. The fairways are made of clay. There are broken trees scattered through out the course. The greens are bumpy.
Not worth it here if you paid me.
Solid Improvements.
Emerald’s greens are improving. Tee boxes are a little tattered however that’s almost every short courses dilemma. Putting greens are in excellent shape. And that is what truthfully matters more.
Bring your irons only and before play practice chipping, chunking, and putting.
After you finish. Consider another round or switch to disc golf.
Worst Course I've e played so far......
Booked a tee time for this morning 750AM, as a first timer at this location was very disappointed. Was told we would have to walk it due to the moisture in the grass even though it was pretty dry throughout. The maps given were confusing and really made little sense. The upkeep of the grounds needs major attention, we were losing balls right next to the fringe because they dug too deep in the tall grass. The gentlemen working the lodge/shop was helpful and very talkative, he let us know what to expect. This is the only reason the overall gets a 2 star instead of a 1.
Really Cool!
It is tucked in a remote area from San Francisco but a really fun golf course. Pretty Challenging lots of uphill, downhill practice for a 9 hole course. I love it!
Great service horrible course
Great customer service and friendly but horrible course.
One of worst courses in Bay Area
One of the worst courses I have ever played thanks to an incredibly rude and incompetent staff, I will never be coming back here. Save your money and play somewhere where you can actually enjoy a round without a stupid frisbee golfer throwing a frisbee at your head.
Ok
Ok round, besides the young man who works at the pro shop was harassing me for 2 days in a row despite myself having tee times on Golf now. I felt personally attacked despite paying my hard earned money multiple times a week to play here. If you don’t want people to play at a certain time then I suggest you take away that time on golf now, I expect an apology if I am to play there again, I felt very disrespected and offended, probably won’t play anymore here
Must Stay Positive Regardless
Course conditions will make you a better golfer
Super Dry course will challenge your play. Chunky Tee boxes. So find an area that is comfortable to hit. Greens are pretty slow. Your Wedge experience should help score closest to the hole.
Plenty of chipping practice space. Always a fun time out here.
Awesome day in emerald hills
Great course. Played on may 1st 2022. I think we got lucky but there was no wait. Was able to play this course in under 2 hours. Good work out lots of hills fun elevated greens. Will play again for sure
Terrible course
This is a disc golf course. Not maintained for proper golf. Layout is confusing too. The “driving range” is a big net covering 30 yards and broken mats. It feels like a practice facility in someone’s backyard.
While this is a hilly course the layout is atrocious. Due to maintenance of grounds. Tee box was moved and no signage indicating which way to go. The grounds themselves for the most part is ok but not incredibly bad. Overall for the price, I highly doubt I’ll return.
Par 3 course in the burbs.
The piece of land that Emerald Hills is on is nice. The course is in poor condition and greens are not good. I guess it is good for beginners to hit some golf shots.
FYI: The picture listed is not Emerald Hills. Not even close to it. Lol. That is mainly why I wrote this review.
