Enjoyed the National at Ave Maria
Enjoyed playing the course again at about 6,400yds. Generous gently undulating fairways and green. Fairways a little soft in places due to heavy rain but very payable. Super greens and plenty of water. Lots of construction going on around course but does not impact the golfers at all. Very different to links play back here in Scotland. Will play gain next visit.

Huge Greens
Beautiful course. Worth the drive. Expansive greens. Poor pin placements that unnecessarily hindered speedy play.

Kinda far
We had a nice outing at Ave Maria, the course was in good condition. The pace of play was decent and course layout gave opportunities for risk reward shots. The only negative was the 45 minute drive, if you are in that area you should give it a try.

Nice track
Nice course, it was our first time playing here so on a few of the holes we weren’t quite sure where to layup to. There is some distance between holes so glad we weren’t walking.
