Excellent conditions, fast greens
Great day, matched up with a nice couple from New York and a great guy from Philly. Pace was excellent on a fairly windy day. Greens were fast but true.
Poor poor poor experience but nice layout
Aweful experience as a single. Tee time pushed back over an hour bc the threesome I booked with brought a 4th, and was told it was ok
I wasn’t able to finish 18 holes bc it got dark on 16
Too this, too that…..but
Too difficult (compared to similar courses.) Maybe that’s by design.
Too bumpy/hilly
Too barren (vegetation not grown in yet).
Construction all around.
But….staff were very friendly and accommodating. That’s a good start.
First time playing the national
Really enjoyed the National. A lot of construction on the holes that will surround the course on the front nine. A few cart paths also remain to be paved, but the course itself was in great shape, and really liked the layout. A relative good value for the high season in the Naples area, where it is almost impossible to get a tee time In a public venue. I fully expect the course to be impossible to play when the membership fills in with the housing development completion.
Complete package golf experience
Overall, a very nice course….several tee selections, great practice area, golf cart crew are friendly. Right now the front nine is a confusing layout due to construction, however we played with players who have played there before.
The course is in great shape with fast and undulating greens.
Nice course
Very nice course! Well maintained and somewhat challenging. We played with a nice Canadian couple who had played there, so that helped to know where and where not to hit the ball. Will play again, if I can get a tee time!
Greens are slick! Front nine is a little difficult to navigate between holes due to construction. Worth the drive to Ave Maria for a nice golf course.
Great course. Very nice condition
We have played The National 5 times this season. The fairways, tee boxes and greens are in beautiful shape. There is construction on the front nine with some dirt cart paths. The back nine is great with just a little construction.
Overall it’s a very nice course and worth the drive.
Construction zone
Course will be OK in the future. For now, you're playing in a noisy, dusty, construction site. Cart paths are unfinished, you have to drive on dirt paths around building sites. Hardly worth the one hour drive coming from South Naples. Pace of play was slow.
