Cordova Golf
Heck of a deal with golf now. Couse was a bit muddy. But with all the rain. Not to bad staff and groundskeepers were very friendly. Rough was rough and mushy but again expected

Forward tees not mowed
I played here with a friend from out of town on a cold, foggy, Monday morning in November. The gal who checked us in was very pleasant. The course was wide open so pace of play was not an issue. We were given a golf moose so we didn’t pay so I can’t comment on if this was a good value.
My current handicap is 11.5 but my friend is not as good of a player so we choose to play from the forward (green) tees. Yes, we are ladies. On a foggy day with dew on the grass, the green tee markers were difficult to see. What made it worse was the fact that the tee boxes were not mowed. We were basically teeing off on a patch of rough. The plum and white tee boxes seemed to be in normal condition. On a short par 3 especially, you shouldn’t be teeing off from the rough.
If I was playing alone or with my husband, I probably would have moved back to the whites but I wanted my friend to have fun. It felt like the forward tees were an afterthought and I would never play here again. I didn’t want to complain to the pro shop because she was nice and it wasn’t her fault.
Best Course Conditions
Best course conditions in a long time. Fairways, Tee boxes, and greens were great. Bunkers could be more fluffy. Played a lot here during 2020 and the is the best shape I've ever seen it in. Take a short(er) walk and enjoy this walkable flat course
Good condition
Active grounds crew. Greens slow but well kept and true. Play the tips to give yourself some challenging par 3s.

Great Day at Cordova!
My wife and I enjoyed another great day out on the golf course at Cordova. This has become our favorite place to enjoy the game we love. The weather was perfect, the course was in great shape, the pace of play was brisk, the people were friendly, and the course Marshall is a great guy too! The Cordova Golf Manager (Chase Michelotti ) has really done a fantastic job of improving the course condition, and it shows. The place was looking really good. We play Cordova often, and if you are looking for a nice change of scenery, give them a try! You will not be disappointed.

Good, but...Slow greens, slow play with no Marshalls
Thecoursewas in good shape. It seems by design the greens were extremely slow. Thepace if play is not monitored. To their defense it was the day before Thanksgiving,so cutting some slack.

Fun Day at Cordova!
My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful round of golf at Cordova Golf Course this past weekend. The course was a little damp from the rain we had, but still in pretty good shape. The course layout is really fun, and the staff is as friendly as they come. We play this course regularly, and once you try it out, you will see why we keep coming back. They have really put some effort into getting this course in tip top condition, and they are doing a great job at it. If you haven't played Cordova before, or perhaps it's been awhile, give them a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Family Friendly Cordova!
My wife and I played Cordova again this week, and as usual, had a great time. The course was still a little wet from this weeks torrential downpour, but it is coming around. They have really made an effort to get this course in great shape, and they are well on their way. The staff is some of the friendliest that you will find, and there is plenty of good food when you finish your round. The on course Marshall always has fresh water on hand, and keeps the pace of play brisk. We really enjoy our outings at Cordova Golf Course. Give it a try. We think you just may like it too!

Long par 3s.......
No short par 3s on this course, 2 of them up to 215 yards, no give me's here, greens were in excellent condition, this is the easiest course I have played and yet I still struggle here for some reason.

Dirt
Worst course in Sacramento for the price. Fairways do not have any grass mostly all dirt. It cost $35 per person to play 18 holes on this crappy course… It is terrible I would never recommend it to my worst enemy
Great Time at Cordova
My wife and I played Cordova (again...) today, and we had a great time. The course is coming around, and gets in better shape each week. The pace of play was fantastic, and the on course marshall is a great guy, who offers water to everyone. The staff is really nice and helpful, and there are plenty of goodies available after the round. If you are looking for a fun golf outing, give Cordova a try.

Great Day Out On The Course!
Played Cordova Golf Course today with my wife, and we had a blast. The pace of play was excellent, the staff is as friendly as can be, and great after golf food/drinks. Also, the on course Marshall offering cold water to all the gofers was a nice touch. The course was a little dry in places, but overall, very nice. Please keep in mind, that this is not Augusta or Pebble Beach, but it is a wonderful course. Can't remember when we had such a fun, relaxing time playing golf. Give Cordova a try, you won't be disappointed.

Drought-effected & slow
Just did not like how bare ground was on most fareways. No Marshall keeping pace.
Rough course???
I like this place, but with the summer heat and volume, the course is in tough shape, but still helps you work on your game and your not over paying, but rough shape....Great staff!!!!!!!!
Cordova Golf Course
It’s the perfect course for beginners, flat & not long
4900 yards from back tee’s.Par 63
Great place to actually get your swings in other than the driving range.Anyone just starting the game of golf should start here price is $29 walking + $15 if you wanna ride.
You can really work on your short game here with
Some challenging par-3’s.
It’s a good place to build some confidence in this very tough & humbling sport before graduating
