Good walking course
Played here 4 times over the past 5 weeks. Great flat walking course. It's a Par 63 for men and Par 66 for women. Due to the increased popularity of golf (from COVID-19) the course showing heavy use. Tee boxes need attention. Fairways are patchy. However, the greens are in good shape. The novice players are partially to blame... not repairing ball marks, replacing/repairing divots, and chunking on the tee boxes. If you can get a Hot Deal, its well worth the money with the 18 holes and exercise you can get out of it.
Rough
Winter conditions aside this course is not in good shape. Over watered just about everywhere despite dry No Cal weather. After the opening hole there are 4 long par 3's which cause major back up. Even decent shots short of the greens find mud, decent lies are hard to find even to lift/ clean and place. greens are ok (6/10) but suffer from over watering. Some decent breaking putts and the speed was reasonable. Some bunkers ok some just wet dirt. Even for just a quick practice round it was not enjoyable. Perhaps summer conditions are more favorable?

Wet fun!!!!
It was an ugly morning, but than the clouds cleared, great pace lots of fun, obviously not a good day for fair weather golfers. Just great time. Played some great young men, lot of laughing and super nice course marshall, thanks for the energy bar.

Easy to play Fast!!!!!
I can play this course in under 2.5 hours walking, the only real problem with this course, is the marshalls need to move really slow players along, for example, I started behind a foursome and they took 3 plus shots to get the ball to the whole on par 3"s, I finally could not take it and on the par 5, I told them I was coming, by the time they got done with that par 5, number 6 whole I was off the box at 9, they were playing a pace of 2.5 hours per nine, which is crazy slow, once I passed them, I was 5 holes ahead. Need to fix that please.

Fun course
I like generally the pace 3 to 3.5 hours, greens were very good. Not soaked up this time , which was great.

Challenging but good short course
For such a busy day, pace of play was good (3hrs 40mins walking). Wait times at each tee box was less than 5mins. Back-to-back groups but everyone was moving. 90% of tee boxes were in decent condition. Beginner golfers need to repair tee box divots. #10 tee box really needs help, but appeared to be a temporary box to allow for original position to recover. Fairways were okay but barren in some areas. Greens great, especially for all the traffic that the course was receiving. Staff was really friendly. Did not partake in off course amenities. Be prepared to be challenged if you are an average-short hitter. The course is designed with longer Par 3s. My fiancee and myself really enjoyed our first time visiting Cordova. We will definitely return in the near future.
Good Hot Deal
Course was packed but pace of play was great. Good mix of powered carts and walking players. 3hrs 20mins play time start to finish (walking). Suprisingly challenging course for it's length. Long Par 3's that require accuracy. The course was in decent shape for as much traffic and hackers on the course. The only (minor) complaint would be the 10th tee box needs work. It appears that the current setup may be temporary to allow for the real tee box to recover (don't know, first time playing here). Compared to where I normally play (Napa/Vallejo) tee boxes were okay, fairways need work but, greens were in very good condition. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back (soon).

Tee time
We had early tee time but Pro shop didn’t open until 6:40 for check in. We had to wait til a bit after 7 to tee off. Every one was stacked on top of one another the first 3-4 holes. Pro shop should’ve opened before first tee time so that players could get checked in and then tee off on time. That’s my only complaint.
