Cordova Golf Course

It is a great value for 18 holes. Course is still challenging.

I like generally the pace 3 to 3.5 hours, greens were very good. Not soaked up this time , which was great.

For such a busy day, pace of play was good (3hrs 40mins walking). Wait times at each tee box was less than 5mins. Back-to-back groups but everyone was moving. 90% of tee boxes were in decent condition. Beginner golfers need to repair tee box divots. #10 tee box really needs help, but appeared to be a temporary box to allow for original position to recover. Fairways were okay but barren in some areas. Greens great, especially for all the traffic that the course was receiving. Staff was really friendly. Did not partake in off course amenities. Be prepared to be challenged if you are an average-short hitter. The course is designed with longer Par 3s. My fiancee and myself really enjoyed our first time visiting Cordova. We will definitely return in the near future.

Course was packed but pace of play was great. Good mix of powered carts and walking players. 3hrs 20mins play time start to finish (walking). Suprisingly challenging course for it's length. Long Par 3's that require accuracy. The course was in decent shape for as much traffic and hackers on the course. The only (minor) complaint would be the 10th tee box needs work. It appears that the current setup may be temporary to allow for the real tee box to recover (don't know, first time playing here). Compared to where I normally play (Napa/Vallejo) tee boxes were okay, fairways need work but, greens were in very good condition. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back (soon).

We had early tee time but Pro shop didn’t open until 6:40 for check in. We had to wait til a bit after 7 to tee off. Every one was stacked on top of one another the first 3-4 holes. Pro shop should’ve opened before first tee time so that players could get checked in and then tee off on time. That’s my only complaint.

I am a bogey/trending bogey golfer and I had a terrible round nothing to do with the gold course. My beef is with the golfers and golf marshal. We came off#9 as a two some proceeded to #10 and three guys jumped in front of us. Secondly, I got hit on the head with a golf ball im not sure where it came from I suspect the opposing tee box. I was under a redwood waiting for my partner to hit, I was not hit directly I believe it came down the tree through the branches. But it put me on the ground. They never yelled "four" and the guy was laughing as they came by. I think the ball bounced into our fairway, I embedded it into the muddy fairway. Needless to say this was my first and last time here...

Fairways have little grass but if you move your ball within a few feet you have something. Ball is rolling out well so course is very forgiving.

This course is a bargain for 18 holes and a cart for $31

The greens were rolling slow today. They were smooth and very soft. Any shot into the green left a significant ball mark, allowing the ball to stop predictably but also leaving a slow putt. Fairways were soft too, leaving a “mud ball” on many 2nd shots. Bunkers were in good shape and the round was fast and fun.

This is a golf course where you want to intentionally boost your GHIN index. A lot of long par 3's. From the back tees (Plum tees), all but one par 3 is 175 yards to 210 yards, with very small greens. Pars on par 3's are earned. The par 4's from the back tees play long too. Hard to make pars, even with a single-digit GHIN index. Condition of course was decent for "post-summer" conditions. Greens were slow, but nice and green--not burned. Excellent value for the price paid.
