Good Conditions
Best conditions I’ve seen this course yet. Greens were slow but nice and fairways were decent, good value for the money at $31 for a holiday.

Great place to practice irons but.....
Fun basic course and a Great place to practice irons but it has been poorly kept. The greens and fairways are way overgrown, both were cut the day I played as there was grass trimmings everywhere but it just too long and slow. It has been dry for a couple of weeks so it's not weather. I have played here over that past few seasons and these conditions are worse.

Greens Aerification Was Not Disclosed on Website
Only the front nine was open for play because the back nine was going through the greens aerification process. BUT, it was not disclosed on the course's own website and not disclosed on TeeOff.com or GolfNow. Also, the regular prices and not discounted prices were charged. The greens on the front nine which we played were already aerified and had so much sand on them. Last, the fairways needed mowing. It was difficult finding your golf ball on the fairways because the grass needed mowing, even though the fairways were quite dry.

Lack of disclosure
Have a back injury ao i thought id play a short 18 with not many long holes. I arrived to find out that yes, theres aerification alert, but, the entire front 9 was closed because of it. Also, there were 2 highschools there to practice. When i asked if i could go out early to play in front of the high school, someone walked out of the office in the pro shop to tell me that its only one group actually playing, the rest of the 30 kids are just practicing. I purchased a bucket of balls to hit while i waited for the "one group" scheduled to tee off got started. I then witnessed 4 more groups of 3 or 4 kids tee off behind that "one group" actually playing. I didn't even finish my bucket before i left and scheduled a tee time at another course. Dear Cordova Golf Course, PLEASE DONT SELL TEE TIMES DURING TIMES WHEN YOU DONT HAVE CAPACITY TO ACCOMMODATE PAYING CUSTOMERS! i understand its difficult to keep golf courses running in current times, but the effort of selling me a 18$ tee time resulted in losing a lifetime customer.

Not great
It’s a short course with a lot of long par 3s. the holes are close together and attracts bad golfers which means a lot of chances for stray golf balls, and the long par 3s make the pace of play crawl to a stop at certain parts of the course. Nice in the spring but too hard in summer and too muddy in fall.

Not everyone is a morning person I guess
Weekend AM opening staff is consistently rude. Like he'd rather not be there rude.
Not having enough electric carts doesn't help.
Help your guy out. Get more carts. Minimizing the bad news he has to give patrons would go a long way to helping everyone have a more enjoyable experience with the clubhouse staff.

Spring time course is great and green
The course is great in the spring time, as the hot summer comes along the course is still good but a little dried out. Plus they need to get more carts.

Have played here several times, although it had been a while since the last time here. Pace of play was good, mainly because the course was not that busy. The course was muddy and had standing water in a number of areas (including some bunkers) also the rough was fairly high (4-6 inches). The greens were in rough shape mainly due to players not repairing their ball marks. I considered it a good value because it's $21 to work on your approach game (11 par 3's). Overall its a well used course (with a lot of beginner / less experienced golfers) that needs a littleTLC and good weather to improve conditions. The Beach Hut Deli located at the course is a good place to get a bite to eat and or beer after your round.

Weather Beaten Conditions
The course proved to be weather beaten and very much a mud pit. Balls can be lost in the fairways due to soggy conditions causing the ball to plug deep. I walked the course and only completed nine holes of eighteen I had paid for that day. It was quite exhausting and disenfranchising to play in such poor conditions as high grass growth added to losing balls near the greens.
In my opinion, golf carts should not be allow to be utilized during these wet and soggy conditions. I could see damaging affects of the tire marks from those golfer whom had no respect for cart path only rules.
This course deserves more care than it’s been given (or lack thereof). The bunkers need attention and refurbishing. Cart paths need repair in certain areas from results of water collection.
I am certain that the staff knows all these defects and deficiencies, but have no authority, power or resources to do anything about it. The common phrase of what will be heard and resonates from these minions is “It is what it is….” The default statement of the mediocre minds. However, they will always be glad to take your money at the check-in counter. Find another course.

Swamplike and very muddy
Cordova is not very good after the rain. Very unplayable! Had to stop at 9 holes cause I keep losing my ball from water pooling everywhere.

Muddy Post-Storm Round
Course was extremely wet and soft after the recent rounds of storms. Balls lost or submerged on shots with any amount of loft. Soft course conditionals also don't allow for mowers to cut, so fairways extremely thick and provide no roll. Greens in OK shape, but also wet and slow.

Cordova Golf Course
This course is amazing. My friend recommended it to me because he always drives passed it and his family has recommended it to him before. I am still a beginner and this has been my favorite course so far. Lots of forgiveness for beginners because the fairway is extremely wide and there isn’t a lot of trees/ponds. This course also gives you the opportunity to use all of your clubs due to having the variety of Par 3/4/5’s. Will be going back!!

Not a bad course
It’s a fun course only problem is that they keep saying they are short on golf carts. An easy fix would be to order more so that it’s no longer an issue. A lot of people don’t want to walk and we don’t have a choice but too. Especially if theirs a tournament then for some reason no one can’t have any. The people participating in those tourneys they can walk they have feet. First come first serve basis
