Greens a little rough some muddy spots on course
Overall satisfied greens a little rough and some muddy spots on course. Restaurant and team at club house and on course very friendly and I will be back because of the kind team members
It Never Changes
I started playing here about 45 years ago and it is nearly exactly the same. The fairways are muddy (hasn’t rained in 9 days), the traps are ponds, perfect for raising mosquitoes, thebgreens are bumpy and it took 2 1/2 hours to wait through the front 9. We were supposed to play 18, but the conditions were so unexcusably poor, we packed up after 9. It just wasn’t fun.

Soggy and Muddy
The entire course was muddy and often times when you hit the ball, it will plug into the ground, even in the fairways....It was not an enjoyable experience to walk through the mud for 4.5 hours. Additionally, the greens were not blown off so your ball would jump all over the place when you putted. The tee boxes are not flat. The grass on the fairways was long, probably due to it being muddy and unable to get a mower on it.

Great Value
Cordova is a decent course at a great price. Grass range to warm up on, large chip and putt section also. Not the best kept course but for less than $40 per round you can live with is. Also having a Beach Hut to hit at the turn or after the round is a huge plus.

Keep your head on a swivel
Was putting on the second green and one of the members of our group got hit by a ball with no fore call to be heard anywhere. Costs about $55 to play the course with a cart which is just as much if not higher than nicer courses in the area. Great course for beginners but too expensive for the quality of the course

Had a great time!!
Weather, course and having good company made the golf experience great. Most definitely coming back. Only thing I came home gripping about was the 19$ dollar BHD sandwich. It was delicious and will probably order again but 20$ is 20$!!
Slow Saturday
We got what we expected, slow play on a Saturday, but the course is in very good condition after a hot summer. It is a learners course, so: Too many play two balls. Very few rake traps. And it seems as though none of the players ahead of us own a divot fixer. But the grounds crew has been earning their keep!
Solid Course
It’s a good 9-18 hole for beginners/average players. Big fairways, minimal water, smaller bunkers. There are 6-7 drivable holes, but the course is small enough to walk and save some money on cart fees. Will definitely be back here until I get more consistent.
Wanted to Like this Townie Course..
Goose poop EVERYWHERE. Tees and greens thicker and longer than the rough. Brown grass or nonexistent grass on every hole. Rocks and holes on the tees and greens. Two rangers doing nothing and no maintenance or course grounds workers existent. Perhaps hiring a new superintendent and staff to help them would be the best course of action. Maybe it isn’t their fault, maybe it’s management. Either way, the person working the pro shop was kind and helpful and so was the person I bought a Michelada from.

Great place
Great course, friendly people and would play again. It was a little muddy in the fairways, but for an inexpensive public course it was fine. The greens were slow until it warmed up and then they were very puttable. I would play again.
