Course is in great shape!
My grandson and I played the day after Thanksgiving and the course was in perfect shape! The greens were fabulous! I recommend playing it this fall and winter!
Improved pace today
Today’s pace of play was much better than the prior weekend. Good learning course, but with that in mind it appears that none of the other golfers have been taught how to fix a green divot or take a sand trap. Still, the course is in great shape.

Great place to learn, or hone your skills
Greens are in great shape, especially considering most of the patrons have not been taught how to (or possibly have not been told they should) repair ball marks. Similar with the traps, most have multiple footprint trails and shot craters in them. But it is a great learning facility that is shorter than regulation (most strokes happen from 150 yards in anyway on a full course), with a chipping/putting green, and a large range.

I was able to play 9 holes in about an hour. Really good pace

Very Few Carts
If you want to ride a cart, book an earlier tee time. My group arrived at 9:00 AM to prep for a 10:00 AM tee time. They were already all out of carts.
lack of etiquette makes the course unplayable
Arrived 30 mins early and was told it was wide open so i could start anytime. 15 mins before my tee time a high school tournament and a 4some had teed off which i had no problem with because I was graciously allowed to start at #10. By the time i got back to #1 a 2some of 2 old fogies took every possible moment to throw grass into the air and look over every shot right before shanking it into the chain link fencing. They could see they were holding up multiple groups behind them but that didnt stop them from inspecting every putt as if it were to win the us open. 15mins later i was cleared to hit off of #2. The last straw was when they moved to the next hole. Both stiff, white haired, older gentleman decided against promptly teeing off and began showing each other god knows what on their phones (probably photos of Marilyn Monroe and Bo Derek in their hay day) and proceeded to urinate in the bushes caring not that high school aged children populated almost every corner of the course at that moment. At that point i knew there was no chance to finish 18 in peace so i walked off the course. Ive never walked off the course before finishing a round in my 15 years playing golf. The short nature of the course and somewhat cheap fees attract players who have no concept of golf etiquette or even just civil behavior in general. Ill be avoiding twilight rates no matter the deal at Cordova golf course in the future.

Decent course
Pretty weird layout with a lot of short par 4s and long par 3s - but it works. The weird layout makes pace of play pretty slow sometimes.
Great course for beginner to intermediate players
Fun course for an unbeatable price. You can play 18 holes in less than 4 hours and it’s fairly forgiving. Hidden gem in my opinion!
Great muni medium length course
Only a par 63, but we used our drivers/woods on many tees. Greens are very consistent and in excellent shape. They could use more drinking water on the course, or an actual beverage cart (106 degrees today and we only saw a guy with water once, and only one drinking fountain).
Not bad course
The shop associate at that time looked like he didn’t want to be there. Wasn’t enthusiastic or even happy. Felt like we were bothering him trying to get our tee time set up. The course is nice overall. Replace that guy and things will be better
