Slow greens
A short track with one par 5 and 10 par 3's, 7 of which are over 170 yards from the white tees. The greens are much smaller than average so I didn't hit my typical %.. It wasn't crowded so finished in ~3.5 hours.

Cordova, it is what it is
Not the worst and far from the best. It’s not far from home and is a decent place to bring newer golfers to work out their game. Pretty forgiving as there aren’t many hazards and one fairway lines up with the next. Staff are generally friendly and theres a pretty good sandwich place there. So unless you want a challenge or are trying to impress someone, it’ll do.

It's been awhile.....
Have not played here for 6 months, the course was in great shape and great value. Highly recommend, I just wanted to work on my short game. Played 18 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Fast and fun.

Getting better!
Played early afternoon, pace of play was very good. Greens are rolling slow but true, the best shape in years. Bunkers can use some work pretty much dirt or hardpan some are playable some are not. Golf carts need the divot repair bottle so we can repair tee boxes and fairways. Bar/cafe I is coming back soon to the course according to staff…yeah!

Kool course, but I think think individual who set the pin placements was very disgruntled, maybe if he/she had a raise ...... Would be awesome if the range lights worked for us people who work late.

Well maintained course in nice condition right now. Fairways and greens are nice, dry on the edges.

Foursome in front of us where EXTREMELY SLOW.
Four players with 2 sets of clubs. Marshall asked them to speed things up by the 3 hole. They didn't, He then had them skip hole. He was very informative of letting us know what was happening throughout the course. I believe slow pokes left after 9. Thanks sir

Staff was rude, waited about 15-20minutes a hole paid for 18 and left after 9 holes cause the pace of play was so dang slow. Marshall was letting groups of 8 people play together on holes groups of 6

Extra Medium
It is pretty clear that Cordova Golf Course does not have the budget of an exclusive private club. But it does appear that the money that is spent on maintains the grounds is well-prioritzed. I found the putting surfaces to be in great shape, fairways were pretty good, tee boxes a little a meh. That's ok. I can live without a high-end tee box, just give me a flat surface to tee-up on and please provide some shade (which is always present) while I wait for my turn. The fairways are wide enough but the adjacent fairway is always nearby, if you are into shanking your drives off the tee like I am. Not much water in this course at all, and also not that many bunkers. However, the bunkers are well-places and there are also a few deviously placed trees to help keep your round a little bit spicy.
Overall, this course is a fair challenge for the bogey golfer at a reasonable price. Just make sure to stock up on snacks and beverages before you go. There has been a Beach Hut Deli coming soon sign up for the longest time but that hasn't happened yet. At this time, the closest place for decenet refreshments is the nearest gas station to be honest.

Coarse is in very good shape now.
The course is in great shape right now. The layout is a little tight so you have to watch for others in fairways going the opposite direction. Pace is not regulated but demand is not such that play is delayed. There are few amenities but priced accordingly. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Improving
Still no restaurant range good. Staff friendly.
The course has been improving the past month or so. The new manager seems to see the potential. Sometimes it gets over watered which make for a real muddy mess, but that is getting better.
