Great Course Close to Home
We will definitely return to this course but golfers should be required to follow golf etiquette. My dad and I really enjoyed playing at this course the first time so we came again for the second time in one week. We were the second group on the course and were done with the front nine in an hour and 15 minutes. As we were finishing hole number 12 we noticed a twosome tee off on 13 that were not in front of us before. We had to wait for them so we went to talk to them to let them know they can't "cut" in front of us. They watched us until we finished the hole, staring us down then stood right behind us on hole 13 as we teed off. We were looking for my ball when I heard one of the men yelled at us so we drove back to the golf shop and told them about the incident. The course employee was there very quickly and spoke to the gentlemen who accused us of picking up his ball. The employee handled it very well even though the one man continued to speak very rudely to him. We continued to play and didn't have any issues with the twosome again. The course employee came to check in on us as we were finishing up the 18th hole which was very much appreciated. The first time we played a single player appeared from no where and teed off in front of us as well but he was very understanding and waited for us to play the hole before he played.
Great 6500 yard course. Challenging and has nice greens.
Always enjoy playing here. Long course with great green conditions. Great putting practice area.
Driving range is irons only, but it helps your game. Very popular course in SBDO area.
I go there a few times each month.
Slow Green
The greens were extremely slow and bunkers are full of weeds. Need a lot of maintenance to catch up.
Conditions improving
overall conditions are improving, greens are healthy, fairways filling in, rough cleaning up, bunkers lagging.

Encouraging
I was finally able to get out and play and for the most part considering what we all are going through with the pandemic the course played well the greens we're good and the pace of play was good. I know with a little work this jewel in San Bernardino will indeed be the place to play in the I.e.

Sad To Say
I have played here a lot in the past both when it was private and since it opened to the public. Last year the course had made a bit of improvement but they are certainly not ready for the course to be open now. I understand wanting to generate revenue but the course condition was so bad that I will not return until I here it has been repaired.
Greens use to be pristine, they are fair at best now. Fairways were okay but there is no first cut and the weeds that make up the rough were impossible to play out of when you could find your ball. I think we lost 5 just off the fairway as a group. The sand traps that were bad at the end of last year when I played here last were so bad that the weeds were almost as high as the ones in the rough.
Please bring back some of the conditions that were around when the course was private and I for one would be willing to pay more to play.

Skip this course for a few weeks
They just re-opened Monday the 15th and it shows. The maintenance staff has been doing the bare minimum over the last 3 months. I liked this course in the past for being decent, not great. The greens were always good. This last visit the traps were all overgrown with weeds and essentially no sand. You didn't know if you should blast or chip. The rough was overgrown. The clippings from any mowing they had done were clumped up. The greens were very, very slow. Maybe in a month or two this track will be worth playing again.

Really disappointed
I grew up around this course when i was young. (It was private then) it was only $30 dollars to play it, and i get it’s a cheap price. The course was horrible! I have never lost a ball two feet off the fairway. I’m a new golfer. We started at 2:20 and made it to the 12th. Hole, (the course was really backed up) the marshal came up and said the course was about to close and took the pin after we putted in. I own a business and get times are hard, but at least try to keep it up a little bit.

Not ready for primetime
Course has really gone downhill. Rough was not mowed, fairways were OK but some dry and some overgrown. Sandtraps had no sand and lots of weeds. Greens were OK but really slow. Not the course I played last year. Too bad.

Being that I played this course when it was still a private course what I saw today was very disappointing. I have played golf for many years and this has to be one of the worse kept up courses I have give to. I didn’t even make it through that whole course got tired of seeing the horrible shape

Sand traps had weeds three feet tall
Sand traps had weeds that were three feet tall in some areas. Rough was poorly cut and littered with broken tree branches and cutting from previous mowings. This slowed down play considerably as the groups ahead seemed to always be in the rough and never found thier balls.

no sand
The starter gave me a little grief for using Golfnow. Sand traps had no sand. The base was hard as a rock.

No Rain no grass
Course conditions continue to deteriorate. The fairways have little grass and the bunkers have little sand. The greens are excellent, but hard to recommend given the current condition.

Fairway condition terrible
First and will be the last time play here. Fairway did not look like fairway, its a piece of dirt with few patches of grass. Green condition was OK though.

Poor fairway condition
Fairway was in poor condition, very bumpy and no grass. Needs serious renovation. Green was OK though.
