Great course except no carts
Very fun course with a challenging lay out. Full 18 holes with somewhat shirt Par 4s, easily driveable. The green play fair but can break a good amount. Too bad no carts thought because the walk is quite long and lots of elevation changes. Make sure you wear comfortable golf shoes. I recommend to anyone looking for a inexpensive round of golf but amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge on the 17th.
Dog on Course
Only in San Francisco!
Who would bring a dog out on the golf course? When has it become acceptable to be required to play a round of golf with a person walking their dog while playing the course? Absolute distraction the entire round in addition to having no golf etiquette whatsoever.
Could not even enjoy a day out on the course with my sons regardless of our lack of golf abilities.
However if you enjoy playing golf with your dog this is the course for you.
Good view, bad condition
Just like everything else in San Francisco, this course is poorly maintained. But, golfers still come, thank to its nice layout and beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Great fun
A short old style parkland course with lots of elevation changes. Nice layout and a good walkers course. Course conditions were very mixed but this wasn’t a surprise. Last 3 holes are the standouts. 16 is a very long par three with some tough bunkering, trees close on the right and OB along left. 17 is more straight forward but also very long 230 yards approx. 18 is a solid par 4 to finish. Was put out in football at 8am and finished in well under 4 hours. Overall a fun and interesting public golf experience in SF.
Lincoln - Local Course
Surprised at how nice the course condition was. Greens were slow but overall fun to play. A bit more attention and this place could be a top course.
Alright
Just wanted to play a round. Fairways are beat up, greens have some weeds. 50$ for a cart is wild. Local muni
Greens punched while playing
Had Golfpass documented the hot deal was due to aeration, I would not have booked. It was a misrepresentation and I was told at time of checking, 30 mins prior to tee time. Too late to cancel and go elsewhere.
I’m disappointed - the greens were all sand, half poorly put together temps.
Very dissatisfying.

Aeration
Went to this course my first time and all the greens had been just aerated making the putting greens impossible to get a good clean put. Things like this should be disclosed at the time of purchase or least the cost to play should be cut in half
Just Horrible
The course is always in lousy condition. They need to pump some money into it like they did to Harding golf course. The city is missing the boat by not fixing the golf course up.
Worst staff EVER!!!!!!
The man that’s works in the shop is AWFUL!!! So rude and douchey!!
Literally we played there 2 days in a row and everyone we talked to said the same thing! Locals and visitors alike! He really needs to go!!!!
The course is great but there are no amenities. No clubhouse. No where to sit and snack. There’s a walk up snack bar window.
We went back in the afternoon and the gentleman in the shop at that time was great!!
Always a beautiful day at Lincoln Park GC!
Lance Wong and the staff at LPGC are always wonderful, accommodating and welcoming, the course is in great condition with the City Junior championship coming up! Such a great experience for so many young golfers to play and compete, even in a foggy day the beautiful views and clean fresh air and pace of play can’t be beat! If you don’t have great memories on this course you really should come multiple times and make some! The greens are running fast and it’s such a great walk and value! I highly recommend it and can’t wait to play there again!
A great practice course
Lincoln Park offers a very unique layout featuring slope, elevation changes, blind shots and varying atmospheric conditions.
Course conditions vary greatly and one can be rewarded with a poor lie from a great shot. It is a wonderful course to consider a variety of strategies.
Some incredibly beautiful views await, whether it be sunny or foggy!
Total body workout.
Unless you are under the age of 50 I would not recommend this course. You could try to ride a cart instead. The course is situated in a beautiful scenery overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. You also pass through the Legion of Honor. Having said that, I have never been so tired and exhausted from pushing a golf cart.
Please be aware there are many MANY steep hills. Rent a motorized cart if you are over 50 like me.
Fun times
Course was in decent shape for the amount of play it gets . Greens a bit slow but not bad . A great layout gives u challenges for hilly lies . Patches of brown fairways but not bad shape . Weather could go from foggy misty to beautiful warm weather throughout the course .
