Unplayable Greens
The greens are under repair per the sign. The course shouldn’t b open. The price should b $20 with this situation. Standing water with mud on fairways and rough. Guy mowing mowed between me and the tee box and missed where he should b mowing and followed us hole to hole when very few were golfing. I will not b back till these problems r fixed. One of the highest prices in the Valley for Seniors.
Greens
This course I always liked but I don’t know what’s going on but the greens are horrible not worth even trying to play it I played a month ago and it wasn’t this bad don’t waste your money I almost went and asked for my money but trying to be nice.

Great course very friendly staff.
Every time no play here I really enjoy it. Staff is always helpful and courteous. Love the atmosphere and iyou never feel rushed. One of my favorite courses to play

Horrible Shape
I’ve been playing Sherwood Forest since my College days in the 1970’s and I really love The Golf Course it’s such an awesome layout but it’s in such horrible shape the greens are trash and overall the Course is in absolutely terrible shape.
I will no longer be playing Sherwood until they can get their Course back to acceptable shape!

Decent course, great people
Per usual, I found the crew running the proshop and snack bar to be some of the most awesome people I've interacted with at a course. One complaint would be that they don't have any practice greens right now because they are riddled with weeds and not much grass. Not the best first impression. When on the course the first couple greens left a bit to be desired but as the course went on it was better. Some areas were heavily overwatered whereas other areas were heavily underwatered. Some dialing in of these areas would go a long way in the playability of the course. But really, those are my only complaints. Got paired with some great dudes from J&S Pools and had a great overall course experience!

Course has great scenery and several challenging holes.
This is my home course that I play the most. I've purchased several monthly passes when I was able to play several times a week. Eric and Rick manage the course and are always present and ready to help others with fittings, tournaments and apparel. Bob and Joe are always there to help with tee times, fittings and great food!

Darn Heat
The recent heat wave has unfortunately done a number on the course for right now. The poor greens took the brunt of the heat. Hopefully they’ll be back to their wonderful shape soon.

Tee Boxes
Most if not all tee boxes were uncut and rough. Too many un-repaired ball divots on greens. I was disappointed with hole #1 green. Too rough This green was not in service for a while to construct it to new not too long ago and it was not in very good shape. A few other greens were the same.

Nice course
The course was extremely wet with standing water on the fairways. The ball was plugging and muddy all round. Although I did enjoy the layout and abundance of shady trees lining the fairways as it was a hot sunny day. I would’ve rated higher if not for overwatering conditions.
