Nice course layout. Friendly staff. Green was punched and in recovery. However we were not notified. A little disappointed

Course offered a good amount of variety over the 18 holes. Fairways were in very good shape and greens were excellent and running at a good pace. Booked at a discount rate ($80) which was worth the price of admission. OC courses are overpriced but at $100 I would still consider this a good value. Kudos to the maintenance team for keeping the course in great shape. Would absolutely play again.

If you enjoy rock hard fairways, dead grass and bumpy greens this place is for you. Not to mention 5+ hours to play. This was on a Monday no less! Beautiful pro shop, clubhouse, restaurant and golf carts but the course condition in equal to Shorecliffs in San Clemente while charging $50+ a round.

I get that fees are lowered after greens are plugged. But a Tuesday afternoon was ruined today by a bunch of guys ahead of us who couldn’t play smart. No one there to coach them on etiquette. Love this course and hope they invest in monitoring, a Tuesday afternoon 9 should not take over 2:30.

Very nice day of golf. . .with the exception of the aerifide greens, which I knew about when I reserved on-line; and is known to be a necessity to keep a course's greens in good condition. I played a couple of weeks ago and the greens were the best I have ever witnessed here and hope in a few weeks they will be back in that shape once again.

I played with two men who regularly play this course. They said it was the best course in the area for value. I fully agree.

Aeration alert would've been nice from GN, nothing on the booking site, had to play the back 9 twice, very slow play...greens were unputtable....bad day all around, not worth the $30 green fee.

The course was in the best shape that I have seen it in years if not ever. Well grassed fairways and fast sloped greens.

Arrived an hour ahead of my tee time so went to the range to practice. Bought a medium size basket for $9 and was surprised to receive only 50 balls. When inquired, the range staff gave me the irritated look and went on to tell me about how pristine their range balls are. However, more than half the balls I received were really messed up. I pointed them out and he took a threatening pose like he wanted to throw a punch and told me not to come back to the golf course. Apparently this guy unhinged on another customer a few days ago and has been problematic, according to the manager. So why isn’t San Juan Hills country club doing anything about it? The manager offered me a free round of golf but I won’t be returning to this golf course again. I was told they have new management running the country club and by the looks of it, this new management doesn’t want Asian customers.

Great day of golf on a great course. The counter staff could at least greet you and acknowledge you. Didn’t get that.

Course was in above average shape for SoCal courses. Pace of play: 4::10, pretty solids for a late morning holiday tee time. Greens were in excellent shape, fairways well manicured and in good shape. I purchased a discounted rate on Golfnow and for this price would rate a great value. Above $90 I would rate still rate this above average value for OC and average value when compared to the better Inland Empire courses. Will definitely play again. Restaurant food was very good as well.

This course is always in great condition. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. It has become a course I play often for these reasons
