East River 9

What a cool, visionary track in east Houston! Really enjoyed my day at East River 9 - challenging, links layout with 80 - 140 yard holes and a beautiful patio for non-golfers to wait and watch. The full service grill was busy at lunch, and there was a practice putting green and driving range off to the side of #1 tee box. The greens are firm and true, and you can tee off from a mat or traditional tee area. The gentleman I played with got a hole in one on #9, so the outing was doubly good. I'll definitely be back.

What a course! Super fun and challenging for me (20 handicap). It’s a course that forces you to think when you’re hitting your tee shot or lining up putts. Great staff, great operation, and an overall great addition to the Houston golf landscape.

Great location and facilities.

Only issue is the cost to play 9 holes, hopefully this comes down with time as it’s brand new.

Worth the money for now

Okay - had a wonderful time playing this small and short brand new Par 3 nine hole course. Great layout! Excellent condition. Greens are pristine as are the traps, rough, etc. Fantastic small clubhouse, solid putting green and practice area. My only negative take is it cost $80 for two of us to play a 9 hole par three course. Most par three courses are either less money when only 9 holes or you get 18 holes for that price. You can walk this course in an hour or so. So, it’s fast! The longest hole is 18 which was about 168 yards. Most of the others were between 100-140. We had a great time. It’s a great little nine hole course. Just a little high for 9 holes and a par three course. Loved it though!!

This course is very family friendly, great downtown view, and has a excellent layout, great addition for the area. I can’t wait for the total project to be completed, I know it will be a big attraction. I have already made it my practice location and will be there at least three times a week.😊👍

This course was nicer than expected but is not worth $45. When I played the pace of play was great. 3 of us finished in 1hr. The greens are good and layout pretty cool. The Houston skyline was awesome too on certain holes. My only reservation is the price. It's just Par 3 nine hole course. But it is Houston and it is 2022. 🤷

East River 9 is a great place to play golf, but also a great place to just hang out. They have an awesome driving range overlooking the Houston skyline. Really great outdoor area which is perfect for families. Great food regardless if you sit inside or outside. The Course is in really great shape. Super easy to walk 9 holes and finish in under 1.5 hours. Highly Recommended

I didn’t realize Houston needed this until it was built. East River 9 (& the joining restaurant/bar, Riverside) are a one-of-a-kind combination of golf, social, pickle ball, food & drink, and even a 300-yard driving range. Did I mention the entire establishment resides under LED light poles to allow for night play?

The 9-hole golf course features holes that can play up to 150 yards, so this isn’t like a putt-putt course, it’s the real deal! Amazing greens with scenic tee shots that require strategic attention from even the best of golfers. At the same time, tee shots are also forgiving for high handicap golfers who may play with a more bump and run type shot.
