Not worth $13
This is the last of my three recent reviews. Gave it a final shot a month after the 11/11 disaster. Fairways still wet, muddy, and often riddled with deep water-filled tire tracks from golf carts and/or maintenance vehicles. Teed off at 12:30 and the pace of play was glacial. Skipped holes but unable to skip muddy fairways and still sanded and often barren greens. Will not play again though I live within a mile of the place. Will have to wait till summer to see if there is significant improvement.

Better than before but still in need of improvement
I gave a withering review of Cherry Hills on Veterans Day (crowded, glacial pace, and worst of all heavily sanded greens and wet, over-irrigated fairways). Three weeks later I was surprised that the greens, though better than before, still had some sand that affected the roll of putts. Even more distressing was the amount of water on several holes due to severe over-irrigation. It hasn't rained here in weeks. No reason for water standing in sand traps or water standing in various low spots in fairways and near greens. The course was good for the $$ a couple of months ago, but that assessment isn't true unless they rectify the irrigation mess and get the greens back to at least their condition a couple of months ago.

Rough Shape
You get what you pay for. My mistake was trying to score a hot deal, I guess. Pace of play was horrendous. I played solo, but clueless 2some in front of me took 2 hours to play the last 6 holes and didn’t acknowledge the presence of another sole in the world. Fairways were like Swiss cheese with the worst ground squirrel infestation I’ve ever seen and the greens had bumpy ripples all over them where they actually had grass. If my tee shots didn’t land in squirrel holes, or fairway mud puddles, I was lucky to be able to find a decent lie on grass to hit a 2nd. Hole 11, 1st par 5 on the back was almost unplayable. Course’s only saving grace was the girl at the counter when I checked in was extremely nice.

Never Play Here Again
Drove over an hour to play this course, and was I disappointed. The fairways are full of gofer holes, the greens are contaminated with grass eating pesticides, and the whole course seems like it has been abandoned. Never again would I play this course.

Be Ready
Do not play this course to improve your game. The fairways are cow pastures. The greens have everything BUT grass. However, if you focus on your drive and when you land in the fairway pick up your ball and place it on grass and hit your second. Putt but don't worry about it. You'll enjoy your game much more. Then you'll say, "Good value."

Dont bother
Came all the way from san diego to not play because course management is horrible in keeping pace of play. We ended up leaving after an hour of waiting. Highly NOT recommended. Never in my life have I left a course without playing. I guess that's what you get for a $36 tee time at prime time for a Saturday. Only chose this course because it was available for 6 golfers with back to back tee times. Now I know why there were times. Smh.

The course is a "dog track". Fallen and damaged trees not cleaned up; broken branches lying all over the place; ground squirrel and gopher holes all over the place including fairways; uneven lump tee boxes, and greens that were punched weeks ago were lumpy, sandy, and not mowed. I play this course very little anymore, but because of the price and last minute decision to play, I took it in. Doubt I'll be back. This course, and not Diamond Valley in Hemet, should have gone out of business.

Needs Work
I actually enjoyed my time here but it's sad to see a course with so much potential, in this kind of shape. I can only wonder what happened.
I hope someone shows up some day with a bag of money to fix this place.

Poor to fair.
The course is charging $45 , for Saturday,
The fairways are terrible , and greens have sand,
It’s mentally challenging with the conditions,
There is no pride in this course ,
We only played because there were no other options
