Beginners course.
If you don’t mind a slow pace of play and very poorly maintained greens then this course is kinda nice .. the course layout is good with some pretty features like hills and trees ..
How to Improve course
The facility was nice.
Ways to improve
1. Have a staff member at the driving range with a radio to help with questions or to let golfers know who is next to tee off.
2. Greens need some work. With the additional numbers of golfers playing these days the cost to improve greens should be no problem.
3. With the increase of new golfers these days a Marshall is needed to give helpful advise on etiquette and repairs of divots and ball marks
4. Some areas on the course were over watered causing mud pits
My wife and I play all over California and will recommend this course to friends. The recommendations are simple to implement
We look forward to coming out to play there again.
Terrible conditions
Greens were terrible and course was not kept and muddy
Fun course, challenging for the beginner
Needs improvement for the greens. Patches of dirt can give you a hard time with putts.
The layout is fun and challenging. The rolling hills give the course its name.
Good price. Slightly slow play. Had a great time. Will be back.
Fix the greens already for crying out loud!
Man I honestly don’t know how you guys can continue to make people play your crappy greens! The first hole second and third should not even be called greens! And they have been this way for years! Come on Sunnyvale you charge us golfers lots to play these crappy greens spend some of those fees we pay on redoing the greens on all holes so players can have decent putting surfaces not lumpy rutted out What once was a putting green!
Course Conditions Leave a Lot to be Desired
I live 5 minutes from the course and have played it many times over the years. I have never seen the course in worse shape. Many greens are close to iunputtable and some fairways are brown. Tee boxes are almost 100% dirt and sand. Eighth green had huge vehicle tracks around the back fringe. Very disappointed today.
Fun little course, super slow play
This is a great little course, super fun and manageable, but be prepared for slow pace of play. Lots of beginners and tee times too close together = lots of waiting. If you come prepared for a slower pace of play, you’ll have lots of fun.
AWFUL
Staff was extremely rude. Fairways were awful, wet, and muddy beyond belief. Greens had more patches than all the pirates who ever lived. Food smelled good but I refused to give them any more business. If I could they’d get zero stars for everything except for the layout.
Don’t waste your money
3 out of 9 greens were decent at best. The rest had mud and dirt patches all over them and crab grass in the middle of the greens. The course has a good layout but the conditions are horrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!
