Grass is greener on the both sides.
Nice day to play with minor back up
No complaint Practiced with more reps involved. The tee boxes need some work but the fairways are well kept.
Okay
Played this course before. Good value ($20 per person) except for the Convenience fee through site +$7 YUCK!
But course is not as kept up as previous visits. Lots of divots, sand traps unkempt, uneven tee-off areas.
Staff was nice and helpful.
Greens on the first couple of holes could use some work, but besides that good value.
Horrible Service
Showed up on time 25 minutes before tee time. Front desk clerk doesnt let me check in on time but lets 4 golfers who were 30 minutes late for their tee time to the 1st teebox in front of myself and others waiting to check in on time for their tee time. Not acceptable. Will not be coming back ever. Thank you Sunken for wasting my time
Gradual changes
Sunken Gardens is a basic yet fun course. Its not overly difficult yet you can lay up and change it up everytime.Challenge you game with slopes.
Par 3 with potential
Nice layout with some interesting holes. Tees are in poor condition - hard to find a place with grass. Very sloped, I assume to drain, however, makes it challenging to find a flat spot to tee. Greens are in decent condition and staff was very friendly. Nice food after the round too.
Forget this golf course
I left after two holes if you are a good golfer do not go there poor condition and take forever to finish the course to many different choices but this place is the worst I have play
Fun course to work on your irons
The course is fun and the price is great. All but one of two holes are straight but they move the flags around to add some nice challenge. It's a great course to work on your irons. My only complaint is some of the greens need some work.
Average at best
Only book here if you can’t get a tee time else where. Greens are choppy and the play is slow especially on the weekends. The better course and value is Rancho. The course is well maintained and the staff is very friendly!
Below Average
I would rank this course below both Pruneridge and Blackberry, and maybe tied with Rancho del Pueblo. The condition of greens 1, 2, and 9 were horrendous, but the rest were fine. The tee boxes were all more sand than grass. I enjoyed the overall layout, and it’s not a bad deal for $20, but the conditions have a long way to go before I would recommend it over any of the other short courses in the area.
Good value for a 9 hole course
The course is a solid place for a nice 9 hole round. The greens on 1, 2, and I think 6 aren’t great. They’re pretty patchy and have spots without grass. If you’re not a foursome you may be paired with other golfers. Not bad overall since I booked a hot deal.
Good time for 2 hours
Course is a test, short and fun. Some of greens were not in great shape but in general, fun time
