Sunny day in Sunnyvale
One of my favorite local places to play. Course never disappoints. I come here most times as a single player and most every time I’m paired with good people. Today was no different.
Windy
The course is in excellent shape the bunkers are nice and fluffy. Greens are fast as always. The wind was blowing as always.
Golf course is very good shapes putting green is slow
Perfect course for twilight
The course is designed back to clubhouse after hole #13 instead of #9. I booked tee time at 5:07pm and can get into pro shop only 15 min before tee time due to Covid-19 policy. Barely finish 13 holes before too dark. I tried the LED golf ball and its distance is way too short and good for irons and for fun only. Saw a long tail fox and beautiful colorful sky in the end.
Smiling at Sunnyvale
Super fun muni. Good amount of holes to test your long game and short game. Routing is fantastic with bends to the left and right. Some greens are tiered, some a little flatter. Great experience for your money. Played a twilight round in 4:15, got all 18 in.
Good course with some fun holes
Sunnyvale is a very good course with some fun holes.
There are few hills but some water to avoid.
The layout is good and challenging.
The course is crowded because it is a good place to play at fair prices.
Cart Path Only
I golf here every week because of location, the staff and familiarity. The last month has proved to be a drag due to fairway access with a cart. I think I’ll be playing elsewhere for a while for a change of pace.
Easy to walk
Course is well groomed. Avoid the dry patches as your ball won’t carry thru after a drive.
Putting greens are challenging
No restaurant. So bring snacks and more beverages then what club house has.
Sunnyvale course
Another good round and friend people to golf with. Seems to be busy all the time but the pace of play is steady. Greens were good and the fairways in decent shape too.
