Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

Sunnyvale is a fun course with some challenging holes.

It is well maintained and not too long..

THe weather was almost nperfect.

The course is well taken care. Greens are emaculate! Fairways are green and the dry patches will carry your drives. Fresh Tee boxes are updated routinely. Come play this course. Scenery jet planes and green grass.

Make sure to have confirmations proof at checking in. They seem to display the idea us golfers have no integrity. Hospitality has always been dry here.

It took almost 6 hours and there was no marshal anywhere making sure people were playing ready golf. The two groups in front of us weren’t that good which is totally not an issue but the issue was they would take 20 minutes to find a lost ball. Or they would wait until the group ahead was off the green before teeing off on a par 4 or 5. Also there was a guy watering the green and wouldn’t stop or get out of the way when we were trying to chip on and putt. Ridiculous. No snack shack or food cart anywhere.

I’ve played this course many times. I like the layout it’s an easy walk it’s pretty fun when it’s in good shape but this time I went recently the course was in really bad shape. Save your money or go somewhere a little nicer.

It took 5 1/2 hours and waited too long at every hole. No marshal to be found making sure people are playing ready golf. Run down snack shack not open. Guy watering the greens and wouldn’t stop while we were chipping onto the green

Sunnyvale is a fun course with many challenging holes but not too difficult.

It is a good course that is crowded.

The greens are in good condition but the fairways could use some work

Number 8 is the menace on this course. If you don’t put your first shot in the middle of the fairway good luck hitting the green. Its the size of a doctors office in width.

Every time I come here , 5 hours to golf if not more. 8 minutes gaps between golfers they need Marshall . Golfer drives golf cart into fairway on par three. Golfer hits repeatedly so many balls . You name it. This course has everything thing the golfers not to do. Terrible. If the manager see this review, I hope to see Marshall on the course….

The weather was a little hot, but it was a nice golf course.

I think it's a good place to play golf on foot.

We had a nice round the other day at Sunnyvale Muni. Was nice from check in to our last putt!

Course is in great condition and wasn’t to hot or windy that day! We can wait to get another great deal for SV muni!

Holes 3,8,9 are dead into the wind so your drives will get knocked down. The challenge is play early and miss the wind or just hit it solid and watch your shots die in the wind.

Had fun playing this left and right adventure! I will be back!

Greens are sandy right now. Very slow play. They need to figure out how to keep it going 7-9 as huge bottle neck. City needs to get the bar area open to get food/drinks. If looking to get out of work and hit balls this is the place.

Front nine has very wide and forgiving fairways but back nine is more narrow. Conditions around quite a few greens needs to improve. Too many weeds and dirt make chipping tough. Tee times are difficult to get so I know the course is making lots of cash. More effort needs to be made to improve the conditions of the fairways.

Greens are in nice shape but VERY soft and mushy. Its frustrating that so many golfers don't repair their golf marks on the greens.

While the layout is good, the course conditions are horrible and getting worse. Courses across the country are enjoying full tee times and record attendance to improve their courses and repair neglected maintenance issues but not Sunnyvale.
