Gone downhill
Used to be a nice course but definitely on its way to being a bad course
Sunny Sunnyvale Muni
No wind is rare for this course but we had it yesterday and even had a flyover from the U.S. armed forces which can be par for this course with Moffett Field across the 101. The course is pretty much always in okay condition with some over watering being done but you can always drop close by to keep a honest scorecard. Most of the water holes are empty so it's very easy not to lose balls here. Overall this muni is worth the cost and keeps you coming back, especially when you shoot a 77.
Marshall Needed
Pace of Play was poor we only got thru 14..two groups hitting from the blues should have been on the reds.back none was a problem..bear and poor golf game don't work for twilight golf...
Good time
Fun course to play the greens are good tee boxes in good condition the ruff is favorable.
Decent course to play
Sunnyvale golf course is a good course to play. I wish they built a driving range too
Fleetweek
Lots if low flying jets makes it unique..was hoping to see blue angels but not this year. Yesterday..We actually put out a small fire behind clubhouse..some one threw cigarette in some groundcover and it caught..no one at clubhouse. It could've been a real problem...we were returning cart...smelled the smoke ..drove cart to bathroom filled several bottles of water to put it out..no one around to report it to that we saw..@ 4:56 PST.
Overpriced
Course has not improved
Pro Shop guy thinks he’s in Augusta Golf course
Rules are strict, no flexibility
Greens are not maintained
No driving range and chipping area
No cart girls( important ) haha!
Too pricey for the conditions
Surprised at current condition
We play this course at least 3 times a month. We played today and prior to today, 13 days ago. Wow! Someone has flooded the course in areas (swampy with mud pools and mosquitos) and the usually very nice fairways were splotchy with what looks like a bacterial infection in the grass. The greens were exceptionally soft with no ball movement of a standard wedge shot ... literally the ball getting plugged in its own divot. This is a course we usually highly recommend as an excellent bargain for a round of golf. The course needs some urgent intervention.
Super fast and good Golfnow hot deal
I play alone from 3pm until 10th tee. Weather is great but became very windy in back nine. Finish just 10min after 6pm.
Fast round. Good greens. No food or drink services.
The course was really spaced out and the greens were smooth, leaning toward a little too soft. Great round of golf. The lack of food services and total absence of any water anywhere on the course was a bit surprising and made for a long back nine. I’d change that just so the golfers don’t dehydrate.
Fun golfing
The challenge is to get the ball in the cup. This golf course is easy to play it does not frustrate you. Nice fairways and well groomed greens. I love to play this course.
