Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course

Today I had an enjoyable round at this course. the fairways were in great shape and not dried out and the greens were very nice and rolled great, good pace. It’s nice to see this course back in good condition. The staff was friendly as well as the food was great at the restaurant upstairs.I would recommend it.

Sunnyvale is an excellent course with very good weather.

The layout is challenging but not too difficult.

Vanilla. It’s probably the best way to describe this place. Nothing good about it but nothing bad about it either. Pace of play was a little bit slow, but that’s to be expected around here. Overall, little too expensive for what they’re offering. If you can get a good deal it might be worth playing it Yes

Nothing special here. Generic course. No range. Slow greens. Slow pace of play. No marshals to help speed things up. Nothing unique or challenging. Just an uneventful course with lots of highways surrounding it (so it’s loud as $!&? and too slow pace of play. Not worth the cost. There’s better values around here.

Always maintained such an easy course to play. I’m a hacker but love to play.

Went for the first time and had a pretty good round. The course is wide open, plenty of room for hitting fairways. Greens were okay for the being things of golfers. If your from the south bay it's a mix between San Jose muni and Santa Teresa Golf course

Very nice golf course. Use cart all the way so easy to find balls and keep pace. Finish 18 holes in 4 hours. Greens are pretty fast today.

Sunnyvale is a very good course. Challenging but niot too difficult. The only small negative is that it is popular and pace of play is a little slow.

The course was in good condition - freshly mowed and greens looking good. Pace of play was average for time of day (12:20 starting time). My son and I enjoy this course and try to play once a week.

First cut rough very long and hard to find ball. Greens had been recently air irated still bumpy. Good course fun and challenging. Great staff

Haven’t played Sunnyvale in about a year and now I remember why. If your ball went into the first cut it was pretty much lost. The rough was terrible and not cut in a while. Lost about 6 balls which should’ve been found if the rough was kept better. Paid $136 on GolfNow and won’t be going back. Hasn’t rained in over two weeks, course should’ve been in better shape for that money.

Common problem, not mentioned on golfnow, greens were just punched and in subpar condition. The rest of the course was pretty good. Another common complaint that seperates a decent course from a great course is the pace of play. Lots of older foursomes making for a bit of waiting but still made ok time not a deal breaker.

We played Sunnyvale on a rainy day and it was good.

The pace of play was excellent as there were few golfers out.The greens had been aerated but that was ok.

After rainy days, 3 holes are cart path only and others are 90-deg rules. A little bit annoying and it makes harder to find the balls. The water fountains are not well. Bring your own drinks!

It was in better condition then Seascape the day before but still had a lot of standing water all over.Greens played great and what stood out to me was even with all this rain we have been getting the ponds are all still empty?There was more water and deeper water on the 10th fairway so why is it none of the water found its way into the water hazards?Would have been a better day but we had an incredibly rude and terrible playing threesome in front of us after 6 holes that wouldn't let us by.Why is it that people tee off from the tips andtwo out of three lose there ball and one barely gets past the front tee almost every hole yet they continue to play from the back...…...guess ya can't fix stupid right?

Sunnyvale is a very good course that is well maintained.
