Great course needs fresh sand
Great course but needs a delivery of fresh sand and more bunker rakes.
Weird weather but ended up to be fine
This day was a weird stormy looking morning start. The wind was blowing from a summery storm direction (opposite of the normal northerly direction), and the air was heavy and cold. It ended well and much warmer, but by this time the round was over. Course was in good shape with the greens coming back nicely from a recent punching.
Decent value!
Pace of play is always slow on the weekends in the Bay. Overall a decent value for your dollar. I cashed in on the Hot Deal and was very satisfied! The guys in the club house are very easy going and easy to deal with.
Stay away
Don’t play here unless you don’t mind zero golf etiquette and zero pace of play awareness and you have 6 hrs to play. You wait 30 min in between hole 7 and hole 8 while 2 groups tee off in front of you. There are no marshals on the course(even though they have a marshals cart right at the pro shop sitting there unused) to keep pace of play going. You have people who look for their ball in the rough for 10+ min and no one is there to move them along. It’s tiring. Covid and Youtube golf brought out a lot of these players, but please, learn the rules of etiquette and pace of play. You hit the ball in the valley, stop looking for your ball and take a drop. Also, Parents, take your kids to Sunken Gardens or any other short 9 hole course if they are beginners and teach your kids the rules,
Tee boxes
Tee boxes are in awful shape. Divots. Not level. Squishy.
Poor pace of play
Tee time was at 5:37 and did not tee off until 5:50 and was immediately behind after the 1st hole. Waited with the group in front of at each hole and had to quit at the 7the hole after 2 hours and it getting too dark to finish.
Senior
If you’re a senior, cheaper to call in rather than use golf now! But we had great weather and the course is in great shape! The pro shop had Taylor made balls for cheap! Employees are very nice and knowledgeable! We had a Great Time!
