Golf courses are busy around holidays.. I get it. I’m from Reno,NV and wanted to golf with my fam and picked this course for us on golf now. Recent reviews didn’t explain the poor grass conditions. The greens are great, but getting there is rough. Hard to get a wedge underneath any balls here, might hurt your wrists a bit too. Lots of dry crabgrass and lots of mud and dirt. Very close layout where all the holes are on top of one another. Lots of balls flying at us all day and lots of waiting. Staff was cool and accommodating in increasing the pace of play when a group of 12 playing together was very slow. Still only got thru 13 from a 12:20 tee. I wouldn’t recommend this course and I would steer clear. I have very nice Titleist T100s irons in black and I def wish I had brought a practice set. This course is challenging because of the harsh conditions, not the layout. The staff is cool and gave us free rounds, but I’ll prob just hit a diff course in Manteca, Modesto or Stockton next time.
No Grass
Yardage on course was fun but condition poor. Very little grass and a lot of hardpan. Greens were good and fast.
Played on Tuesday and halfway house ran out of food and restaurant was not open on Tuesday. Bar, however, was open.
Good value through GolfNow but needs better upkeep.
quick round of golf
the overall round was good, it went quick. Not crowded. I would like to see more deals for 18 holes. I can go over the hill and get cheaper. I would like to stay local where I live.
Great place to golf
This was my first time playing at the course. The greens were in great shape. There were some dry areas around the fairways and some muddy areas (just rained the night before). The staff was great really nice. The only negative thing I would say was the pace of play. There were two groups of 5 people in front of me. Overall I had a good experience and will definitely be back.
Well worth the price
Best greens in the area, by far! Played a 3 hour round on a Sunday morning, perfect greens, polite staff and members. Definitely booking again soon
they were doing work on the greens, back nine closed, had to play the first nine twice. The course appears dry and would like to see green on more of the course. the price is reasonable at times, would like to see more deals. this Course is my local course.
Greens under Repair
The front nine was unplayable due the the greens being under repair. Had to play the back nine twice. Received an email after booking and paying. This should have been on the site prior to booking. I would have played somewhere else. .
Pace of play
The greens are in excellent shape and the course is as well. The problem I had was there were 2 different groups in front of me, both were 5 players each and that made the pace of play extremely slow!
