Tracy Golf & Country Club

Staff are super friendly and accommodating. The course was in great condition. Tracy Golf is a fun family setting. The course setup is great. It rewards good shots and makes you work a little bit if your shot is off line. But generous fairways are pretty receptive. Makes for an enjoyable round.

This is a fun course I play once or twice a month but I will never go back again on a Sunday as there was a slow group who by the ninth hole had three to four groups waiting for them to tee off on 10. I called the front desk to ask if someone could help come out and move them along and no one showed up so it took us 5 plus hours to play 18 holes.

Even though it was very windy, it was a great day on the course. Staff very friendly. The challenge that the wind presented was even better. Conditions are not always ideal. We had a great t one playing and during the course of our round it was nice to play with and against the wind. Had some really good and bad shots... but that’s normal.

We will definitely be back.

This course needs a lot of work for the price they are charging. Greens are ok however fairways are terrible! Apparently the guy who is in charge with the course is more worried about people not wearing collared shirts using their range. He said no collared shirt no practice range because it’s a country club!! It’s funny coz the course doesn’t look like one and doesn’t have the amenities of a country club except they charge like it.

Nice course to play, weather was great, personnel were great, a little confused about location of some of the green tee boxes, could use markings on the paths or arrows. Plan to come back again!!

I started my round at 8:30 in the morning and it seemed like I chased the sprinklers all day. The majority of the greens had the sprinklers on in the middle of my round. There were greens I wasn’t able to play due to sprinklers being on. I wasn’t sure if I was at a water park or a golf course. I’ve played here before and have never experienced this but I don’t understand why you would be watering during the morning rounds won’t be going back.

Great course, really hard but interesting. Some greens have some pin locations where a mishit can just keep rolling and rolling, while some of the drives are not straight forward. Some holes are deceivingly difficult, like hole 2. I really enjoyed these challenges. I would definitely recommend this course to someone looking for an interesting course at a good value.

For a desert course it was okay the greens played really fast.

Played on a Monday morning and finishes in record time for us, little over 3 hours. Just imagine if we did well how quick it would’ve been!

I enjoyed playing here and will look into going again

Our first time at Tracy and we were quite impressed. Easy drive and just off the 580. Got here at the crack of dawn about 30 min early. Talked to the pro shop and they were able to get us on a little earlier. This was one of the friendliest pro shops I've ever encountered. They were very welcoming and even more so when they found out it was our first time there. The staff knew all the regular folks playing early in the morning and it just felt like everyone was happy - the way it should be.

The layout varied enough to make each hole a little different and the course conditions were in very good shape, however the greens were just aerated and sanded when we were there. Pace of play was excellent. Our foursome was following a group of three regulars. We waited briefly for the green to clear on the first hole but after that we barely saw them. We finished in just under 4 hours.

Would definitely recommend and would play there again. And let me repeat - kudos to whomever hired and manages the staff here - they were outstanding and deserve special recognition.

Overall the course has improved drastically from the last time I played it about 6 months ago. They seeded the bare spots and the grass is coming back. The course is way more lush.

Green's were just punched and sanded it was tough but another month should fix
