Tracy Golf & Country Club

Great course, really hard but interesting. Some greens have some pin locations where a mishit can just keep rolling and rolling, while some of the drives are not straight forward. Some holes are deceivingly difficult, like hole 2. I really enjoyed these challenges. I would definitely recommend this course to someone looking for an interesting course at a good value.

For a desert course it was okay the greens played really fast.

Played on a Monday morning and finishes in record time for us, little over 3 hours. Just imagine if we did well how quick it would’ve been!

I enjoyed playing here and will look into going again

Our first time at Tracy and we were quite impressed. Easy drive and just off the 580. Got here at the crack of dawn about 30 min early. Talked to the pro shop and they were able to get us on a little earlier. This was one of the friendliest pro shops I've ever encountered. They were very welcoming and even more so when they found out it was our first time there. The staff knew all the regular folks playing early in the morning and it just felt like everyone was happy - the way it should be.

The layout varied enough to make each hole a little different and the course conditions were in very good shape, however the greens were just aerated and sanded when we were there. Pace of play was excellent. Our foursome was following a group of three regulars. We waited briefly for the green to clear on the first hole but after that we barely saw them. We finished in just under 4 hours.

Would definitely recommend and would play there again. And let me repeat - kudos to whomever hired and manages the staff here - they were outstanding and deserve special recognition.

Overall the course has improved drastically from the last time I played it about 6 months ago. They seeded the bare spots and the grass is coming back. The course is way more lush.

Green's were just punched and sanded it was tough but another month should fix

This course reminds me of Roddy Ranch before it closed. Same looking entrance kind of the same layout with gusting winds. I can see the value of the course if you live locally. The layout is pretty good, you need precise shots to avoid trees and bunkers, which knowing the course can be a huge advantage for ball placement. Surprisingly bunkers and water was immaculate compared to other courses. Fairways and tee boxes need a lot of work to really make hitting shots at greens possible. I applaud them having a club and ball cleaner on their carts. I might revisit this course one day especially if I see some improved reviews.

Green's just aeration done last week still very rough and sandy otherwise it was good playing

The course was in good shape but we played on a very windy day. Nice greens, even though recently aerated.

I drive from San Jose to play here. And each time I get to like it more and more.

Good long course. Only issue not notified greens was aerated so impossible to put.

The greens are the only part of the course in good condition. Tee boxes are not close to being level and the grass is spotty. The fairways have many bare areas ( no grass).

Driving range is closed for a remodel. Why isn't this fact mentioned on the web site?

With the major increase in tee times golf courses are flush with money, so I have a hard time accepting any course being to bad shape.

Tracy greens are hard and fast. If you ever wanted to master putting from rough or hybrid from 20 yards out, this is the course for you. The layout has some challenges since there are trees and most holes are a dog leg. There is a driving range for warming up but it is all dirt so I would not count on the same type of roll. The Service staff is really nice and I will be back.
