This course is pull cart friendly.
For one like me who prefers to walk than using a cart, this course is perfect.
Smooth, no backups
Everything just went so smoothly. Pace of play was very good.
...They're doing their Best (I would Imagine)
Although my review may be a tad bit less than what the course may think, it's Fair. The staff is pleasant and wonderful, however, the marking for the Golf Course isn't well (and I hit the Fairways). Notice of hole to hole direction, isn't PUBLICLY known, however, you could use the routing on the back of the Score Card. From once a Private Golf course (I would take that off the Moniker), it IS a Golf Course. And I have to repeat, my review IS Fair. If the question IS, ..."Would I recommend this Golf Course to a Friend?". ...at $15 the Golf Now Rate (under $18.49 with the fees), sure, if they wanna get in a Quick (Single) round on a cart. At their $60+ rate? Absolutely NOT for my friend; IF I wanna keep that friend and him/her ask me for their REFUND. The young lady (Staff member was Extremely helpful and very nice.
Nice course for the money
Overall this course is a good value. I would even say it’s above average when it comes to value. Greens are really good. Some tough greens mixed in with some easy ones for a nice balance. As far as the course condition goes, my only complaint is probably not a problem for most of you scratch golfers out there. I play Army golf (left, right, left) so I tend to end up missing the fairway quite often. I’m usually willing to accept the consequences but this course is particularly frustrating because there is a time of dirt/rocky areas instead of just tall grass or your typical rough. Look, I know I shouldn’t complain and just play better, but when you have a great value like this course does, a good number of the customers will play like me. I just hate hitting off of that dirt.
As for my rating on the staff, every lady that works there is friendly and polite. The men however don’t give off the same vibe. I honestly feel like I’m walking in to a private club I am not a member at. I must add one caveat however, they have never said a mean or unprofessional word to me. Just kinda indifferent I guess. I am from the south and probably more friendly than they are used too I guess.
Bottom line, worth the money and I will continue playing here on a regular basis as long as it stays that way. Would appreciate a little more hospitality but maybe that comes with the membership?
Good course
The course plays well, fast greens. The fairways were a little neglected, front nine was in better shape than the back nine . Staff was awesome.. Worth playing.
Must of been beautiful in it’s heyday
This course must of been amazing in it’s prime. The fairways are rough with huge patches of crabgrass and/or plain dirt. One of the water features is empty. Not sure if this is a result of the drought or maybe change in ownership/membership? The tee boxes and greens, however, are very nice! The staff and local members were incredibly pleasant and pace of play was great. The course has great potential to become great again and I look forward to seeing it improve; will definitely play here again if we find a good deal.
The course was very challenging. The holes were with plenty of water to make it challenging.
Best Greens
Great layout on the track. Fits my eye when I play. Fairways give you extra distance off the tee. They let the rough dry out but that's no big deal, i jus move the ball to grass. I have played all the courses around, private, public doesn't matter, the greens at tracy right now are equally as best as anything you will see or better, fast and pure. Most important part of the course and I'm glad they put their focus on that.
Great value, challenging course that's in pretty good shape.
I've been playing TGCC for about a year now, and it's getting better. The greens and areas around the greens are always in tip top shape. The fairways are about 90% good, with a few dry spots and clover, etc.
Overall, a good little challenging course. There's several dogleg LEFT par 4s, which are pretty challenging for us amateur right handed golfers. 3 of the four par 3s are pretty challenging too.
Listen, it's not Wente or even Poppy Ridge, but for the price and the fact you can play in 4 hours most days, it's a great little course.

Great course , always a challenge, greens are always in great ahape.
Country course
I was enticed to play by a good deal from Golf Now. The staff was good and put me with a good group of players. It was too hot for me and the fairways were hard so the balls ran too much. Greens were good. Maybe if I played early the round would have been okay but the heat stopped me after 12 holes at 1pm. The course is suffering from lack of water but not unusually so for this year. If you can handle the heat and get a good deal it's not a bad deal.
Lousy layout
The course was not that bad although very dry. The grass was cut to such a point that the ball rolled off and out of many fairways. I had multiple problems figuring out where the next hole was as there are cart paths on both sides of most holes and the cart parking areas are far off the greens. Even on the first hole we had to ask how to get there. The course plays on both sides of the freeway and there is no signage to find each next hole
