Good Value
Greens are usually good. Fairways here are wide open but not in the best condition. Very forgiving for beginners. Good for the price and the extra drive out there.
Unfriendly STAFF! Worst value! Please elsewhere.
Got a grumpy old man running the shop. Extremely unpleasant experience. Paid for a prepaid tee time. Had some business to take care in the afternoon, so wanted to tee off a bit early since there was barely anybody playing (Wonder why!), no groups waiting. It was wide open. The "friendly" old man make us wait for my tee time. Stupid and inflexible, not customer oriented!
fun to play
Hot Deal round for $21 on a Sunday afternoon, Great Deal. Very playable & Fun layout. Water in play on multiple holes. Given the location...its hot, the course is in good condition...some dried out spots as expected. The greens are in very good condition and fast.
Fairly easy course and the weather was good.
The weather was good except some wind. Two freeways on both north and south was something we have never experienced and affected on our shots.
Fairway distance markers were not clear.
Country Club
Old cc now open to public. Care of couse a little scruffy, but greens while spongy roll surprisingly well. Course offers a lot of very challenging tee shots.

I've played there many times and am always pleased with the staff and the course maintenance.
Best greens around
This course has everything. Length, difficulty and arguably the best greens in nor cal. The value is top notch. Fairways are a little spotty, the tee boxes can use some work, and the layout is ok. But I will come back again and again because of value and those greens!!!! Wow!!!!
Greens were in great condition
The greens were in great condition. Everything else was fairly dry and the course plays a little harder than it looks.
Too pricey without a "Hot Deal"
The course layout is plain vanilla, especially holes #8 through #16 on the east side of Hwy 580. The greens were in top notch condition. However, the fairways were below average, and the rough was absolute trash. The course managers are clearly taking the California drought mantra "Brown is the new green" very seriously.
Normal weekend prices appear to be $61 per player including cart. This is too pricey for a course in this condition, especially when comparable prices can be found at neighboring courses that may be in better shape, such as The Reserve, Las Positas or Diablo Grande.
Excellent pace of play for a Sunday - finished in about 3.5 hours.
