Tracy Golf & Country Club

I have lived in Tracy for 13 years and never played the course. For the most part I felt the course was ok, but at $40 bucks there are better options like Diablo. Back half needs to have the water features cleaned up. Couple of the "ponds" were empty of water. Also, they shut down the food station on the back half early. At the start they said it was open, but when I got there around 2:30, they had already closed up and left...sign said open till 3. played starved for the back half, my fault for not packing a protein bar. Staff in pro-shop when I check in were great.

Very nice course with super fast greens. I was very impressed with how well maintained and clean the course was. Me and my putter will be returning soon.

This course needs alot of attention, I understand that they have changed greenskeepers and that is a plus, but to use the excuse that the grass is dormant is not it's only problem. The fairways are all chopped up in places, standing water where there should not be standing water, the greens were in good condition but not in the condition that I would expect a semi-public country club to be.
I will give them a few months and then try them again.

Calling this a "Country Club" is a stretch. The place was built in the '50's and hasn't changed much since. The staff is friendly, and some of the holes are interesting, but fairways are in horrible condition. To be fair, I've heard a new company has taken over and is trying to undo the damage of the previous management. The sound of big rigs roaring by on the nearby freeway doesn't add much to the ambience.

I got a great rate and enjoyed the course and the people. It was a cold Sunday and the course was wide open. Its pretty flat but for a flat course they mixed it up nicely. The greens were in very good shape and played fast even though there was a lot of rain before. Some of the greens are very challenging. The fairways are pretty hard and short so the ball will run for awhile. The tee boxes could use some attention. Overall the course was good and I will be a return customer for the right price.

This course is far from a "country club". I can see why it's open to the public. It's also next to the hwy on just about every hole.

I liked the course layout. The greens were in very good conditions and the price was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem I think needs a lot of attention are the fairways. It's not right to be in the middle of a fairway and be on hard pan. I know it's breezy, but for a private course, I feel the fairways could be better maintained.

Excellent course for the money, how can you play by paying $20 at any good course on weekend?

Old country club feel, staff was very nice. Course is a bit quirky and need a round or 2 to get the feel of where to hit it.

The greens are perfect, the course has some challenging holes. It's always a pleasure playing this course.

I enjoyed playing here. I started off with lunch, which was really good, except that they don't take credit cards which I found disappointing. However, the golf course itself was in good shape and I enjoyed playing.

Not a crowded course. Slow Green but still roll true. Fairway so so. Not a very tough course. A bit noisy because of next to freeway. Good value for the money. Very friendly and cute staff.

I like the price better than the course. That being said, there are some challenging holes to conquer and a lot of green to cover on a few. Course is dry and rough in many area's, but overall play was okay. It can get pretty hot in Tracy though. Played one day when it was 105%, managed to survive somehow, but I wouldn't recommend it! Manager is very friendly and food is cheap and not bad for what your paying. Jess and I will definitely play there again... he lives down the road!

A great value for this course. The staff was great and the course was a challenge. Lots of fun.
