Sapelo Hammock Golf Club

I was extremely impressed with the course conditions here, not a single blade of grass out of place on a single hole, other than #8s green. Really incredible for this time of year. I will be back several times this year.

Tough course from the tips, very manageable from blues or whites which we played. Good practice range, putting green, great little clubhouse with good food. This has become my new favorite course in the Savannah area. $46 specials on Golf Now too

Overall, I liked the course. People were friendly and let me through as a single.

17 of the greens were in great shape, #8 is gone, looks like fungus. Tee boxes were not in great shape but fairways were very good. Overall 4 stars but easily could be 5 with some improvements.

My wife and I always try to play Sapelo when visiting the Georgia coast, got a great last minute deal on Golf Now. Course was in great condition, weather wonderful with some April wind. Arrived a little early and staff just go when you're ready. Enjoyed an awesome round.

This was our 3rd or 4th time playing at Sapelo Hammock, but our first on the back 9. What a nice surprise, and we had the whole course to ourselves on a perfectly warm weekend afternoon. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and we look forward to playing here on our annual escape south for the month. As a couple, we’re a beginner and low intermediate, and find the course challenging but not too difficult to enjoy.

Course was great and the weather was great except for the gnats! Hopefully next time we play they will be gone :-)

Salem’s Hammock is a beautiful course. The greens are very well-maintained, and the scenery is incredible. Also, the Sapelo Hot Ham and Cheese in the cafe was delicious.

This is a beautiful course. It is built thru natural forests. Very few homes to hit. The fairways are still a bit sparse from winter but will fill in nicely. The greens were absolutely beautiful and rolled true. Best greens I've played in a while. Not especially quick but very fair. Done in 3 1/2 hours. They even provided outstanding weather :-). Well worth the drive.

A lovely place to spend Easter Sunday away from home. The greens were in great shape and, I suppose because of the holiday, there was no waiting even though I was playing alone.

Our foursome had great time. The weather was perfect (mid 80;s) and the beauty of the course was outstanding!

Great place, greens need a little work and Tee boxes, course seems to be on the very dry side so surprising for this time of the year especially after all the rain we have received recently.

Fairways and greens where in excellent condition. Teeboxs had some patchy areas but had no affect bc face it. Tee it high and let it fly.

Greens in good shape but tee boxes and fairways were in rough shape.
