Sapelo Hammock Golf Club

It's a beautiful course, just wish I knew the back 9 was closed for aeration. I booked 18 but played 9, the front was aerated yesterday and we got a rain storm overnight they should have fixed the front 9 greens so they were playable but instead it was all holes and piles of sand. Besides that I'd say the layout is nice but never saw back 9 so can't say for sure. Sad thing is I live 15 minutes away and probably won't return, just a bad experience and a starter lady that wasn't in a good mood, that was obvious...

First time playing here, I got a recommendation from a friend and it was definitely amazing. The staff were very friendly, greens were in great condition, the layout was different but in a good way. The price was cheaper than most public courses in Savannah and better maintained. Felt like I was playing at a private country club, thinking of being a member here too. Will be back again with more friends. Five out of five

Beautiful course in excellent condition, greens, fairways, tee areas are the one draw back, they need a little work. It a beautiful area with lots of oak trees throughout the course, water and marsh views!! Loved it!!!

This was my 2nd round at this somewhat remote course. I am 73 but still playing the whites. This course may not be the longest or toughest course but it is an interesting layout and plenty challenging for 90% of players. Setting within the marshlands of southern Georgia, it is very well maintained with about the best-conditioned greens of public courses within access to Savannah and Brunswick. The surrounding terrain and some nice homes provide a very pleasing visual experience. The practice facilities are better than average. The staff is friendly and makes you feel they’re glad you came to play.

This is probably my favorite golf course I've ever played on. It has unique landscaping and is fun to play on. I will definitely be going back soon.

Me and the guys love this place! Slightly challenging course, yet all around great place for the low country vibes to be taken in.

Course had some wet spots from recent rain and one green had seen some better days but looks like it gets direct sunlight.

Went in blind and had the BEST GAME I’ve had in months. Not that I played the best just every person there including the 3 strangers that got paired with me. Beer is ice cold and greens are smooth what else you want from me dad!???

Great course, fantastic views of the marsh and local scenery. Greens were immaculate, with only hole #8 being the sole exception. Tees, fairways, and bunkers all in excellent shape. Course is tough on some holes, not so on others as it should be. Thoroughly enjoyable round, well worth the drive from Jekyll.
