Golf course is a good value for cost, had a knowledgeable greens guy, and the oro shop/ restaurant had super nice folks, Cristina and Evis, (sp), doing a great job behind the counter.

good time
Our group as a whole were very pleased with the course! The greens were perfect and the course was in great shape. What added to our experience was the beauty of the course as it was a picture perfect appeal. I will absolutely come back! It off the beaten path but once there you will be impressed with the beauty and how well the course is maintained! Because it is off the beaten path two of our guys remarked "listen, there is no sounds of traffic or noise"

Scenic views, lots of doglegs that turn both right and left, the 17th tee is deceiving but enjoyed a fun track that is connected by many bridges. Greens moved slow when i played but the course is manicured well

Course was in very good shape, greens were faster than usual, and a couple of greens were questionable (11,13). I’d say rolling at about a 10. Best shape and condition I’ve seen in a long time.

Hidden gem that treats the eyes and the golfer
Beautiful! On the edge of the marsh and tucked away in a peaceful location. ALERT: You have to have bug spray so as not to become a feast. Sand Gnats/No-See-Ums are a part of the region. Prepare for them and they will not be a distraction.
Facilities are nice and the personnel are both friendly and helpful. Range facility has unlimited balls and green and chipping areas are very nice.

Hidden Gem
Absolutely a great course for the value. I considered Sapelo my home course for a long time but inevitably looked at other options after the greens and tee boxes fell into disrepair and it seemed like the pro shop wasn’t really addressing the issue. HOWEVER, over the last 5 months, the staff has done an OUTSTANDING job getting the course back up to par. The tee boxes were very grassy and cut, the greens were absolutely pristine and rolling true compared to 5 months ago. Would like to see the tee boxes get leveled, over seeded and rotated more to combat the divots but hopefully this is an upward trend for the course. Definitely enjoyed playing the course and seeing the natural coastal scenery it has to offer.
