Course conditions
Irritates me when you book a tee time but don't mention that your putting sand on all of the greens! Not only did they put a ton of sand on but when players walked on the greens they left ridges. Not only did it hurt your game but we had to move stones the size of marbles. Terrible experience!! This is a beautiful course, but its all about making that buck and not caring about their reputation. They didn't even offer a reduced green fees, that proves where their priorities are. I'm very disappointed

Gem on the coast
This is a superb course with a lot of challenges and hole layouts that make you think. You have to place your tee shots in strategic positions off the tee; or you will have second shots to the greens maneuvering around large oaks with layered southern moss. From the blue tees a good challenge, and remember at 12 feet above sea level the ball does not fly as far as playing in Atlanta Georgia. A little bit slow on pace of play, with four groups backed up on each hole. However, we were told there was a tournament; which slowed everything down. A group of local members behind us echoed the slow play saying it was not normal. If your a competent golfer your not spending a lot of time off the fairway and green; so maybe you get to the next tee a little quicker. PLAY this course, you will love it. But hit it straight and true.

Good track, slow greens
Layout is awesome through the Georgia marshland, fairways and rough in great shape, the greens on the other hand were smooth but veryyyy slow. Overall a good course, once the greens firm up and get quicker it’ll be a great course. The staff inside were very friendly as well, for $30-$40 you won’t be disappointed.

Low Country Star
First time playing the course and really enjoyed the whole experience. Great staff, course was in very good shape from tee box to green. Lunch was local BBQ that they serve on Tuesday, which was excellent. The layout, scenery and shape of the course made for a great day of golf.

Aerated greens lessened the day
We did not know that the greens had been aerated before we got there. They were very bumpy and very slow. Thought the price was high for the quality of the greens. Should have received a discount.

Unfair charge
Disappointed in being charged $27 for additional cart for my daughter to ride in. I could see $10 extra but not $27. Thought about this course as my go to but pretty Disappointed. That was like a round when she just rode the course.

Good Shape
I've played this course at least a dozen times and today was the best I've found it. Except for the greens being aerated and sanded, the tee boxes and fairways were well groomed and the bunkers were in good shape. If you're not from around here don't casually go up to your ball if it lands near any water. The gators can be well hidden.

Nice course
The course is a great value for the experience. The layout is nice. The views are good. The course conditions fair. Some of the greens need attention. As do some of the fairways near the greens. However for the price it is a very nice course.

Fun course for all levels
I took a 10- man old trip to Sapelo over the last weekend. We range from a 0.8 to a 28 handicaps. All have fun on that course. Great views and layout but the wind can make it tricky. They young man named Evin that works there is a really friendly and helpful employee. He was always smiling and willing to do anything extra to make our trip better. We will be back next May for sure.
