Penmar Golf Course

Course was in great condition, did play a little slow. But overall was a good time and fun track.

First time playing here. Simple easy layout. In good condition especially the greens that were rolling fast and true. Pace of play was a little long (2.5 hr for 9 holes) but had a fun time.

In my opinion, the best public course in my general vicinity! I've been going for years and will continue to go for years to come~

I enjoyed playing Penmar because of the ease to schedule tee times, overall design of the course, courteous staff and generally kind and easy going players in my experience. This course seems busy all the time however play moves well with minimal backups. My only con at this point is the greens as they have recently been aerated and still have a good amount of sand present that affects ball movement. Other than that it’s an ideal place to work on your shot game and still include drivers/woods.

Course is fine but the only issue is they do groups of five which slows down pace of play

The greens were being air raided with sand so they had flags planted shorter in fairway. If I was notified earlier I would have played elsewhere. Lot of players left the course

My mistake. I thought I made the tee time for Friday, April 25.

Well maintained greens, nice staff. The clubhouse area at the front is great with a friendly bartender and good prices.

I find Penmar to be a very safe bet , when it comes to an easily enough course for beginners. Yet challenging enough for the more seasoned golfer.
