Westlake Golf Course

No GPS or sand , divot mix bottles on carts greens are slow.

Good time weather prefect and nice and friendly course. Nice course for average player with some challenges.

I've played Westlake many times and it is a fun course when you're with some friends and have nothing else to do that day.

I was hoping to go on a Friday at 12pm and finish at a good pace so I wouldn't spend my whole day in the 90 degree plus heat.

Unfortunately, the course was extremely slow this day. I finished the front nine in about 2 hours and then thought I could get a quick start on the back by jumping a couple of groups who went into the clubhouse at the turn.

I was able to play two holes (10 & 11) with no delay and then got stuck on the 12th behind 4 groups playing the back to back Par 3s (12 & 13). I noticed that this backlog wasn't limited to just those holes, so I left because I didn't want to spend the next 2 hours playing 7 holes at a ridiculously slow pace.

Getting the 18 holes and cart at a discount through GolfNow wasn't worth it because of how slow the course played and made it seem like a waste.

They are always improving this course. Greens were in good condition.

Short course but challenging. Good to work on iron play but good for drives and fairway medals. Fairways very good and forgiving but water on seceral holes mainly par 3's. It is on my weekly sked.

This is a short course and always fun for a 3.5 hr play. Very well maintained with nice gentle greens.

The price they charge for the condition of the greens and tee box is very reasonable. This is not the most challenging course but it provides a 3 hour round, cart and well kept greens, fairways and tee boxes. Overall a good value if you breeches to d get in 18 quickly.

Thought the course was in pretty nice condition considering the water situation. Greens were very nice. Have played here a lot over the years. Short course but a fun course. Keep it in the fairway.

The course is nice the starter gets you out right away especially for a single person.

This was a fast, fun course. Played in about 3-1/2 hours.

haven't played here in 10 yrs. course is 6/10. same staff as I remember 10 yrs ago. good in some ways but robotic. feel free to to act like you appreciate our business. maybe see u in another 10 yrs

The golf course is in great shape from tee to green. Every hole has a different challenge, specially the par 3s. The only Con is the slow pace that encountered during most of the round. This course offers some challenges for many different levels of players.

This is a nice relatively easy course with a few challenges. The day I played there was a tournament which slowed play, but I would imagine it's a pretty fast course under normal conditions.

It is a great course for all levels from beginners to
pros.
For pros it's a confidence builder and for beginners its a great course to learn on. Has all the necessary factors for a course to work out your game.

Good pace of play, just over 4 hours for a foursome but we weren't in a hurry and there was no one waiting on us and we weren't waiting on anyone else.

Good beginner course or course for golfers like myself who only play several times a year. Good value and a some difficulty but overall easy course with great birdie opportunities.

I play a lot of twilight golf all over Ventura and L.A. This is my local go to place for great golf and great people..!

A good local course to get out for a fairly quick round. Nothing spectactular, just an average local course.

We play here regularly. They let us play 9 holes which many courses won't in the middle of the day. It's a great golf course for beginners and seniors can be a little flattering to the score for decent golfers. Pace of play is generally ok because the holes are shorter. We were held up a little by the group in front and finished the front 9 in 90 minutes (7am tee off). The greens were aerated a week ago and they are rolling REALLY slow at the moment. Generally they are a touch slow. At the moment they are horrible. Give it a few weeks I am sure they will be decent again.
