Harbor Park Golf Course

Booked a 10:40 hot deal as a single. Usually that includes your cart, right? Well over here at Harbor Park, that only includes half of your cart. I was told I was going to have to pay an additional $12 or I could share a cart with someone I didn't know. I played this course at least 40 other times and have never had this issue. I asked the starter if this was something new and he told me no this is normal. Paying a total of $24 to use a cart when the tee time itself is only $22 is kind of crazy.

Other than that interaction, it was a regular round at Harbor. Is a course filled with primarily older golfers. It took 2 hours and 45 minutes for 9 holes. There was one point where the group ahead of us was 1.5 holes behind the group in front of them.

Fairways are pretty wide open for the most part. There were a couple wet spots on the Fairways, but nothing too crazy. Greens were in good condition for a municipal course.

I would recommend playing this course, but make sure you walk and are ready for a long round.

Every group is a group of 5 so it plays a little slow but it a nice layout and a fun full sized half course. There is no driving range and the warm up bays are taped off but one you get out on the course it is well maintained.

I hate getting paired up. I golf a lot by myself, no pressure, let’s me practice. I can rehit a ball if I have a bad shot.

This last time our tee time was at 3:00 and because they paired me with five people. I even rented A cart because I can easily get through the 9 before sundown by myself. But, because the pairing we didn’t even finish five holes

It’s not a good look for a course to give away your tee time to two solos, let alone blame the people who were actually scheduled, and tell them off in front of everyone else. Want a refund? Oh, not possible. Because apparently they make zero money from a golf now reservation and can’t possibly refund you.

Never play here. Ever

Imagine you make it to your tee time, get told you were late, have two solos get thrown into your group instead, and still get told off by course employees. Welcome to Harbor! The worst place to play In Southern California.

Never play here under any circumstances.

This is a perfect course for a quick play. Nine holes can be played in 2 1/2 hours.

2.5 hours not bad first time playing with 5 people in the group

Group ahead of me was 2 separate groups merged into one, they were on the tee box for about 10 minutes each hole, and only god knows how long on each green.

Spoke with a marshall and was told he cant do anything about it, which is quite odd. Didnt even finish my round due to those morons.

So usually this place is great and easy. Today I got to the front office to check in and the guy is looking at my name and noticed he gave my time to a someone with my same name. So then tells me because I wasn’t there 20 mins early (I was between 10-12 mins easily in line ) that he now has to change my time 20 mins later. I pre paid for the time and now because he can’t read or do his job correctly it cost me time. Like bro how bout you just not suck and everyone can have a great day. Other then him thou the day was beautiful, course was movin and the sun was out.

They’ve recently implemented putting two singles that want to ride in the same cart. It’s turned into a lousy deal. If they want to do that. Then just up the price.

I was visiting Hermosa Beach last week and wanted to play a round of golf while in town and couldn't find an 18 hole time but instead booked a 9 hole course at Harbor Golf.

It was a well kept muni with good fairways and excellent greens. My only complaint is the roughs were in need of a cut as it was difficult to find balls and tough getting distance out of that higher grass.

Course was long for a 9 hole and the people who worked there were excellent. Great service and communication. They sent out 5-some's every 10 minutes but we never had to wait for the group in front of us for more than 2-3 minutes.

The 4 guys I played with were super friendly and interesting. Had a good time.
