A visual sanctuary

Likely the most visually appealing course imaginable. The grass appeared to be over seeded as it was thin but long. Needs some more time to fill in. The greens were punched three weeks ago and they still rolled fast and true. The course had just seen a ton of rain but still played really solid. I would definitely play there again but the pace of play was pretty poor. Did not finish with a 12:30 starting time, waited on every shot…which is obviously not good. Great experience overall

Bunkers

The only thing to gripe about, the bunkers. Course was phenomenal! The views, fairways, and greens were some of the nicest in California. I think it would be a 5 star course with better bunks tho for sure. Would love to play again with the boys.

Trump National Los Angeles

The course was in phenomenal condition and I don’t really see how it could’ve been any better unless the greens hadn’t been aerated three weeks ago. But, even with that aeration, you couldn’t tell it had been done other than a slight wiggle of the ball occasionally as it rolled across the green. T boxes and fairways were outstanding. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the amount of holes that were cartpath only, and the reason was not apparent as it had not rained in quite some time. . I’m a three handicap and was able to shoot 68 with five birdies and only two bogeys which is proof that the greens were in very good shape. I would recommend to anyone a round of golf here as you will enjoy it. I almost forgot to mention, you can see the Pacific Ocean from every position on the golf course. The views are spectacular!

Beautiful course

Great course with scenic views of the Pacific ocean on every hole. The course is a little hilly, so you should use the cart. Fairways lush and the greens we're perfect and a little fast. Definitely went after the links golf layout for this one as it's hills in some fairways but you'll enjoy it!

Got it on a hot deal, but wouldn't pay full price as Torrey Pines is significantly more accessible.

Booked tee time on GOLFNOW app, was informed of the rules : recently aerification done-cart path only…

Teed up as twosome and noticed there were a foursome on the green. Was delayed 5-10 minutes on every hole . Tried to skip around the group in front of us but there were 2 groups on the next hole😩…completed 16th hole in the dark….

Fairways and greens were in terrible condition.

Improved Bunkers but recently aerated

Glad to see they have put sand in most of the greenside and half of the fairway bunkers the last 5 months. It seems that they aerate the course and greens 3-4 times a year which makes the greens inconsistent due to sand. A nice course but overpriced especially compared to Los Verdes and the Long Beach minis
