About
Carved from acres of wooded countryside in Woodstock, Towne Lake Hills Golf Club takes advantage of the rolling green hills. The dramatic elevation changes make it difficult to find an even lie anywhere on the course. Arthur Hills, the course's designer, incorporated a variety of challenges that makes each hole unique including a deft smattering of sand bunkers. The golf course depends as heavily on course management and strategy as it does on shot-making skills. It is a challenge to say the least, but it's fair. There are also four sets of tees that make it more approachable. One of the most memorable holes is the fifth. This par 5 presents an interesting risk-reward opportunity that will make you think. Towne Lake Hills G.C. boasts consistently good course conditions and idyllic scenery that make the round even more enjoyable.

Nice Facilities - Needs Some Update
I enjoyed playing the course but was extremely unimpressed with the golf carts. They had to be at least 10-15 years old, no suspension, bald wheels, etc. I actually had to return my cart at first tee box because one of the back right tire was flat. I’ll go back if I can get a good price, but they need better carts for $75/rnd.
The course was I. Winter condition, greens were nice and the food was most excellent.
Some blind greens
The greens had a lot of ball marks in them that should have been repaired. Guess that is the problem with a public course. My biggest gripe was the blind greens. I really don't like just hitting a approach shot without knowing where the green is. I don't remember how many there were but at least 3 or 4.

Tucked into a neighborhood, this course had everything a golf wants or needs!
Walking is not for the faint at heart
Just what I was hoping for!
Very happy with my time on the course overall. I’d definitely play here again. Pace of play felt a tad rushed, Marshall came up in us a few times. We finished our round in just over 4 hours but often felt like somehow we were slow. It didn’t impair our ability to enjoy ourselves overall! The only thing that might have been nice would have been a map of each hole versus just the greens info. Especially never having played here before.
Gone down hill
Obvious they are not putting any money back into the course. Tee boxes were horrible, greens slow and poorly maintained. Tavern was very nice, good food and great service.
Ranger John is the Man!!
The staff is always friendly and keeps things enjoyable.
