Towne Lake Hills Golf Club

Nice track on this course. Will probably play again as I was not familiar with it's layout the first time playing. Greens were in great shape. Tried to stop for beer after golf but the bar closed at 5:00 PM.

One of my favorites, it's a course that you'll probably attack differently the second time you play it. The layout is tricky, but not tricked-up; with dramatic elevation changes, lots of doglegs, strategic water and waste area hazards, it plays longer than the yardage on the card. Course is consistently in good condition, with great facilities and great staff. It does get a lot of play, and always seem to be full, but is well-managed for a reasonable pace of play.

A great layout that featured great contour, good conditions, and very fast and hilly greens. A great variety in the greens as to size, shape, and angle to play that you don't often see on golf courses. An enjoyable round, you can't go wrong on this one. A nice clubhouse and pretty good food as well.

I played Towne Lake Hills today in absoulutley frigid weather from the time I got out of my car. The clubhouse was very nice and there where so many great features on the course. And the food that I had at the turn was great I had nachos which where great. The course itself was great however the greens where a little slow but they where fine. 11 is the best hole on the course with the water. The greens here where very small. I was debating to give the course a three star rating or four star rating but these where the reasons that I gave it four.

1. The clubhouse was stacked with all the new clubs and appereal for the winter and the new 2017 clubs and putters.

2. The clubhouse food was great and the nachos where some of the finest I've had in a while.

3. The grass was over seeded and green.

4. The practice facility is great.

These are all the reasons that I gave Towne Lake Hills a four star rating. I highly reccomend this course to anybody that wants to play a fun round.

You better bring your A game with you when you play this course. It plays long. Greens are in excellent shape and very fast.

The course was in good shape. Greens were decent with lots of undulations. Good luck finding a flat spot in a fairway.

Had a nice time @ Towne Lake. Glad I played with a local who played there a lot. Disappointed the driving range wasn't open on Tuesday mornings. I did have an opportunity to chip and putt to warm up. There should be listing when practice facilities are closed on GOLF NOW for each course listed. Several of the greens really had a lot of ball marks from previous play. Loved the layout and the beautiful scenery. There was no cart-girl with refreshments available when I played.

I played this course for many years and dissatisfied with the course conditions - greens especially. I have played many municipal courses that were in better condition, but the greens fees were 50% less.

Showed up on Sunday morning, paid $55 for green fees, only to discover on first green that greens are recuperating from recent aerification. Some discount and certainly notification were in order.

The tee boxes, fairways, rough, greens were in good condition. Nice layout - plenty of distance. Three greens we're being repaired.

This is one of the underrated courses in the area and worth my 45 minute drive. A good, fair track, enough of a challenge for all skill levels. Conditions good, pace a little slow starting out but marshal lit a fire under the slowpokes, back nine flowed. And the cutie in the clubhouse put a nice capper on the day.

The gentleman at the counter was very prompt in responding to our tee time and very courteous. Great customer service. Sets the example.

The golf club check in was not friendly and as I am a 68 year old woman who enjoys playing with her adult son, when we can, we were paired with 2 gentlemen that were a bit more serious about their game. We were pushed by another group of "men" behind us whom we let play through. Did not really matter as there was another group behind them but that was not a problem. I recently moved here from Maui, Hawaii and have played first class courses throughout the islands. For the money, the "good ol boy attitude" and the greens being in bad shape were not worth it. Too bad because this course is very close to my home.

The course was in good condition. Greens were a little slow, but kept well. Lots of rain the day before made the greens very soft. The layout is challenging, but not too hard. Very convenient location off of 575.

Could have used more visits from the drink cart, but all in all a good day of golf.

I had a threesome and we would have liked to play alone. I explained that we would be willing to wait or jump forward to be able to play just the three of us. The manager (white haired man) rudely said that it was "not his problem." I would have been fine with we are too busy to accommodate etc but he was downright RUDE! Followed us outside to start to make sure the starter marshal did not accommodate us. Also,

you will never get a decent flat lie on this course. Nothing but up and down, hills, moguls in the fairways. Lots of blind shot to the green. More like pinball than golf. I WILL NEVER RETURN!! STAY AWAY!

The location is great from where I live which is East Cobb. Decently challenging golf course with a few "what was the course designer thinking" holes and in particular the 18th. Otherwise a good alternative at the right price.

The layout is challenging and fun! Conditions were fine but not great. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous! Played at 5:00PM on a Tuesday for $28!

Had two Families with children walking the cart paths while I was hitting my tee shot. Very frustrating to have to deal with on a golf course. Also had a dog running through the fairway and a young guy launching balls across the fairway over my head from his back yard. Course was in good shape. Greens looked like they had been plugged a while ago and that was beginning to grow back.

Pace a little slow , saw ranger a little too much be he was nice. Concerns where he would park was dangerous. Great course sand traps were in excellent shape. Greens nice.
