Always a fun course. The grill is exceptional. Soup of the day is always a hit.

Course was a bit soggy due to very recent rain. It was cart path only and if you are not aware it is a very hilly course. It pays to have a properly placed tee shot. Several blind shots makes it a challenge along with the fact that you rarely ever have a flat lie even in the fairways. Greens were in pretty good shape for the time of the tear. I read several complaints about the divots but I did not see it as a huge problem when we played. Overall I was happy and we got the round for 32 bucks a player on golf now which is a 25% discount over the normal price.

A course with very tight fairways and narrow greens at times with lots of slope. A fun course full of challenges and rolling fairway lies. Not the longest course so becareful on your approach with your wedges for spin! Go play it in the summer it will be a test and fun course!

Good practice area, course in great shape, pace of play good, beverage cart service often and friendly.

I played the course with my brother in 4 hrs and 10 mins. the putting greens were rolling great. the course is very challenging. We played from the tips. don't play from there unless your a 10 handicap or better. hard to find a flat lie and most lies are side hill, downhill or uphill. overall its a fun course to play.

Nice layout, friendly staff, good range. Bent grass greens in good condition. It looks like it gets a lot of play and based on the amount of play, it is in good condition. There are a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the greens, but other than that I really like. Houses are far enough from the course that they don't come into play unless one hits a really bad shot. There some drop ares not on the score card, so ask the desk attendant which holes have them and their locations.

This is a great course for the price. I played it frequently and always enjoy playing here. You will enjoy the lush fairways and nice greens.

I booked my tee-time on Golf Now dot com for $22 on a hot deal. It had rained heavy early in the day, but sun came out off and on. Got to course early and they told me that I could go ahead and tee off. Did not see another golfer until the 10th hole and that foursome let me play through on the par 3, 12th. Course in exceptional shape after a very hot, dry summer, with the exception of the ball marks on the greens. I have been playing this course for about 7 years and ball marks on the greens has always been a BIG problem. That is not directly managements fault, but is indirectly. If the course would have marshals or rangers that watched golfer when they reached the green, they could let them know to fix their ball mark, or don't come back. I really believe that is all that it would take. Much of the course is laid out with slopes that drop off dramatically to the right, which for most amateurs with a slice, it makes it very difficult. You need to be able to hit a straight ball or play your slice left (which can't be done on some of the more narrow holes) so that you don't roll out of bounds.
Two days prior I played the same course in a foursome, and it took us over 5 hours to play 18. A threesome passed us on the turn without saying a word and teed off from the tips. Only 1 of the three hit long enough to be playing that far back. When we complained to the ranger, we were told that they were not who was holding us up. But it was because the long hitter had to wait for people to clear the green on his second shot, yet he was always way too close for any of use to tee off from the blues.
You can't beat the price to play golf on a Sunday afternoon.

First time playing this course. It is s player friendly course. Fairways and greens in great condition, staff is very helpful too. We had a great time!

It's a beautiful course with interesting holes and challenging obstacles. You get an awful lot for the price of play. It's especially beautiful in the Fall.

The course was in excellent condition. First time playing there. Course was challenging but fair. Layout was stimulating and fun. I would recommend this course highly.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The starter James was a hoot!

I have played this course a ton over the past two decades. It is still a fun track! Challenging enough for all golfers and the greens are in really good shape. Fairways and rough are very good as well.

My son took me and some friends out on my 65th birthday. I had not played this course since 2008 and it was just as I remembered. It is in great shape and the greens are fun to putt. If you haven't played Towne Lake, make it a place to go. Then after playing it once, play it again. Some holes are a lot tougher than they look. #8 always gets me for some reason... We beat the rain to have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Great food and service. Thanks to all.

It was a good track for the price. Some of the tee boxes were worn out, fairways were average but greens played nice and true. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.

This older neighborhood course has a lot of up and down on it - if your prefer flatter courses then this is not the one for you. Played from the tips and its a good test for any golfer. You can score on this course if you keep your drives around the fairways. Greens very challenging to read and rolled good. Overall course in good shape, greens get a workout due to fair amount of play. Practice facilites decent, but not great. Clubhouse nice but getting a littel dated. Their are a couple of tricked up holes, including #11 and #18. We scored a $30 Hot Deal so all in all an enjoyable round given the money spent! Staff very friendly.

I've played this course quite a few times. Most outings are good, but this year on several occassions, I watched players ahead of me being allowed to look for lost balls for over 10 minutes, maintenance crews ignoring play, and greens full of unrepaired ball marks.

I don't know what happened to this course this year as it used to be a great place to get a round in. I actually had one greens-keeper watering the green while I was putting and another one mowing behind me while I was hitting my approach shot...and I do mean right behind me. During this same round I never saw one Marshal and watched a foursome in front of me take up to 25 minutes to play a par 3 and the same group looked for four lost balls for over ten minutes.
