About
The Championship 18 Course at Foothills Golf Course is one of three courses at the Foothills facility, but it is the only 18-hole course of the three. Built in 1971, Dick Phelps designed the course. The public course is 6,908 yards at its championship tees. Although the course is relatively flat, there are some hills that cause uneven lies. The course features other difficulties as well. Pretty lakes and creeks create water hazards that come into play on some holes. The greens are bent grass while the fairways are covered in Bermuda grass. There is also a putting green and on-site teaching pro to help golfers with their game.

A real jems in the Foothills area.
Its May and, as aeration heals greens, Foothills is doing an amazing job keeping up. The champions course was a fair challenge today with a kind first cut for the most part. Sand traps were freshly raked, and pins makeable. Good job guys!

Good municipal course!!!
Play this course wuite often due to how close it is to my home. Theyve got 3 9's so that makes for a variety of options for getting on. Course is pretty well maintained and the staff is always accomodating. Pace of play can be a bit slower but thats expexted ar these courses
It’s a fun, relatively easy, public course at a good value
I’m an “improving” golfer and I love playing here. There are some interesting holes but you don’t get in too much trouble. It’s inexpensive. I always have fun.
