About
The Championship 18 Course at Foothills Golf Course is one of three courses at the Foothills facility, but it is the only 18-hole course of the three. Built in 1971, Dick Phelps designed the course. The public course is 6,908 yards at its championship tees. Although the course is relatively flat, there are some hills that cause uneven lies. The course features other difficulties as well. Pretty lakes and creeks create water hazards that come into play on some holes. The greens are bent grass while the fairways are covered in Bermuda grass. There is also a putting green and on-site teaching pro to help golfers with their game.

Good course
Played foothills 9.10.23. Course had recently been aerated greens were in recovery. Rest of course was in very good shape. I always find the course challenging yet fair. Staff was very friendly
Good time, enjoyed round
Foothills was in good condition and the pace of play great. Would recommend other than the clubhouse is still being built. If u want just good golf play it. If u are looking to hang in clubhouse wait another year.

A beautiful 96 degree day with the course in good condition. Paired with a nice young couple and had a very pleasant round.

Good Course - Bad Starter
This is a good course, and good value. Now the bad.
Upon arriving one-half hour early, we checked in and sent to starter. After inquiring whether we could go off early (as we had a plane to catch later), we were accused by an angry fellow Ken of being impatient, and that we had to wait. After three foursomes went off, and the last group reached the green on the par four ahead of us, we teed off. Ken had incorrectly called our name to play the Executive Course. Halftway down the fairway, Ken drove out in a cart and verbally assaulted my wife and me for teeing off without permission. This abusive confrontation lasted for 5 minutes. The nice boys that joined up with us confirmed they had witnessed this behavior before. This was so unusual that I knew the problem: Foothills is a city course, and no doubt have trouble firing bad employees. Too bay, as Ken ruined our day, on an otherwise lovely course.
