About
The Championship 18 Course at Foothills Golf Course is one of three courses at the Foothills facility, but it is the only 18-hole course of the three. Built in 1971, Dick Phelps designed the course. The public course is 6,908 yards at its championship tees. Although the course is relatively flat, there are some hills that cause uneven lies. The course features other difficulties as well. Pretty lakes and creeks create water hazards that come into play on some holes. The greens are bent grass while the fairways are covered in Bermuda grass. There is also a putting green and on-site teaching pro to help golfers with their game.

Great value! Poor amenities while building!
Course is fun & a lot of variety! Lots of construction going on while new clubhouse being built. Green fees are very fair considering!!
Only played 7 holes
Course was in great shape and moving right along. Then hail and lightning started had to leave course. Will play again
No green on hole 9 and bumpy greens for $65!?
To start, I love Foothills overall. Great course layouts and friendly staff. I know they are updating a bunch to make a new clubhouse, but the construction obstructing the course on more than one hole was upsetting for one. The course had bare spots on the fairway all over, and the greens were as bumpy as can be. There was a “temporary green” on hole 9, which was literally a flag in the middle of the fairway. Normally I wouldn’t mind this for $25-35, but to pay $65 per person was absolutely unacceptable for those conditions. Hope they lower prices or shape up the course!
Wonderful view of mountains
Played in April after a rain. Course held moisture well. No carts allowed although I think they would have been ok. Hope to play in summer. Sure course should be in great shape.
