About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

Very Solid 4 Star Course
Very Solid Track. Being in the high 90s for the past two week has taken a toll on the course, but with that in mind, course was in great shape, which it usually is! Great layout, great pace (played in the afternoon, so that may be a factor), cart and pro shop staff awesome. Definitely a Northern Colorado gem, and worth the drive from Denver - we come up twice a year for this course.
19th hole? It's a snack bar - not trying to be mean, just honest. Some of the best views in Colorado looking down the 18th fairway towards the twin peaks is awesome, if a beer and a bag of chips are good enough for you.

Where are you?
Great course I really enjoy playing. Only complaint today. Is it was mid 90s and no beveragw carr to be seen. It would've been fine but due to the covid scare. No drinkable water on the course.

Great first experience
We teed off ahead of schedule, pace of play was great. Marshall was friendly, fairways in great shape, bunkers had good sand. Overall a very good course, great time today. I will be back.

Long, challenging, rewarding

Course in good condition, greens were below average, access to cars with carts limited
Very good value, course was in great shape except for greens. They were bumpy, with apparent damage caused by ecological factors? Overpriced concessions. Access to cars with electric carts was a pain. Hard to load carts with golf equipment from bag drop. Had to walk up and down flights of stairs to load from car to cart. Course would not allow carts in parking lot, and access to bring carts up to bag drop area was blocked off. Silly arrangement.

Ute Creek Review
This is a very nice course. Everyone was super friendly that I encountered on the links and the staff was as well. The views of the continental divide and Longs Peak are breathtaking.
However, the part that really stood out to me about Ute Creek, was how well it was maintained. The tee boxes. fairways and greens were all in outstanding condition.
Most importantly, we had a lot of fun. This was my first but certainly won't be my last time golfing at Ute Creek.

Wide open, fun course
Nice course with a wide open layout. There is quite a bit of sand, but still pretty easy to manage. This course is a lot of fun!

Winter Season-Sahara Moisture
Basically no precipitation other than a micro Squall two days ago. The Superintendent is managing the course appropriately. Directing cart traffic to the rough and cart path to preserve the turf. Course is in excellent condition given the current conditions and weather. They don't give up much on rates. Just slightly over priced for the time of year.
