Place is epic. Some tough greens and at times ridiculous pin placements. Get on it while you can....

Astor has generous fairways with many tee positions. Not challenging off the tee for good players but the greens will make you think. They are undulating and fast-stimp of 12 when I played. It’s Florida so plenty of bunkers with some water hazards here and there. The course has only been open a few months. As such the clubhouse and dining facilities are under construction. There is a small pro shop and staff were very friendly. I lost a couple of personal items around the start area that were not turned in-disappointing. The fairways and greens are in good condition. As a new course on open ground, it feels a little sterile with limited landscaping, but that will mature with time. Carts are comfortable and top of the line. Practice grounds are adequate and growing. It’s a bit pricey and will evolve into a private club as membership grows. Pace of play a bit slow but it was a beautiful day and a Friday afternoon. I enjoyed the round and would recommend the club to all skill levels. If it is maintained well and when all amenities are completed, it will compete with the PGA courses nearby.

Great course, will try and play again before it goes private. The fairways are WIDE, the rough has not grown in yet. The greens are fantastic!!

It's a little hard to pick up flags as there is no depth perception due to lack of background.

Practice facility is great and the range is excellent. The course is wide open and generous fairways. Approach shots are critical as there are areas on the greens that would be difficult for putting. Conditions were excellent considering its been open 3 months.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great conditions with multiple tees. Fairly wide open so hard to lose balls. Great practice area. Only critique would be not many/any memorable holes

Course is wide open. Greens are big and undulating. Weather was very cold and windy which made it hard to evaluate, Conditions are what you would expect from a new course. We were the 2nd out. Nobody near us which made it play very fast, It should be added to the GPS course databases so we could use our own watch or GPS Overall with good weather it would be considered a great local course, A bit pricey.

Perfect greens. Firm and fast. Course is pretty wide open right now. It’ll be less so once all construction around it is done. Staff was super friendly and facilities were very nice. Seems they’re just getting started and I’m sure there’s more to come. Will go back and highly recommend.

Love the greens! I will come back in 10 years!
