Good Fall Golf
Course did good removing as many leaves as reasonable. Greens were mostly clean and rolled well. Pace of play was great. Super unique layout with back to back par 5s on both sides. Excellent finishing hole with the wind coming in off the water. Can’t wait to play again
cold October afternoon round
I love this course, have since the 70s when i was dropped off by my parents to play it. Great staff, great condition considering all the factors.
Greens were cut in a way that affected the ball rolling strait at slower speeds.but i am sure it was some sort of treatment to help growth.
Beautiful time of year to play golf in New England. Saw a Bobcat and a herd of deer on this round, Of course all the leaves as well.
only problem i have with this course is pace of play at times.
Course so well kept and layout classy
Tee boxes, fairways, greens are covered with plenty of green and are so so green!!!!
The kind of grass on the fairways covers 99.9 % of the ground
The tee boxes are huge there are alternate as huge and grassy
Whatever the maintenance and ground crew did to make this course so green others can learn
Course conditions
Slicing the greens instead of plug aeration allowed for easy putting. I personally made 8 putts over 12 feet
Great Sept day!
The tea boxes were just irritated about a week ago but still in nice shape. Overall the course was in excellent shape even with a very dry/drought like summer. The bunkers were raked and rock free. Love the layout and the various undulations of the fairways. Can’t wait to play again
9th hole tavern was closed. A sign that kids are back to school.

One of the better Hartford area courses. Challenging, creative holes.
Favorite
My new favorite course. A little because I scored really well. But mostly because I live the layout and the people in the pro shop were extremely helpful and friendly.
Nice round on a Wednesday morning
The starter had our group out about 10 minutes before our tee time. The pace of play was good, and we stayed just behind the group ahead of us. The course was in great shape as always, especially given the lack of rain this summer.
